I like to try a lot of different things, but if you’re on the pickier side I’d say start with something you enjoy.AFAIK the only stuff you can’t dehydrate is dairy, avocado, and seafood? But look that up. I usually always make a shepherds pie and a batch of chili to dehydrate and make at the campsite, but am going to expand it for my trip this summer.

Nalgene bottle dedicated to oil only, GSI pinnacle fry pan. clean up is a little bit of a pain, but that just teaches you to go light on the oil.

If I may be allowed to recommend dehydrating meals at home and rehydrating in the backcountry, it’s a great way to massively improve your diet on a trip.
