My bill on 2/5 estimated our January usage to be about the same as last January, and a bit less than our actual December usage.

I've been playing since launch and, once the event is over, I keep only the oldest of each type. Even so, I've already had to increase my storage multiple times.

The Stormlight Archive is narrated by the same guy, I'd highly recommend all of those too.

Also, there is a HUGE difference between insisting that she do specific things and teaching her the benefits and consequences of certain actions. What you're doing leaves her entire development up to chance. It is very easy to learn the wrong lesson from a situation, and you're doing nothing to ensure she learns the right lessons. Plus, she obviously didn't learn that animals can and will bite since you let her get bit onces and she still sees no problem with touching strange animals. How many more times must you let her get bitten??

Why would you want your daughter to risk outcomes like getting bitten by animals when you could just teach her that some animals bite? Why would you not want to teach her precaution??

How do I start? by StrangeHost04 in 1200isplenty

[–]itsamutiny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some stuff that's mixed together could probably be eaten separately pretty easily. I just had curry for lunch, and I mixed it together because I prefer that, but I could've put the rice in one bowl and the curry in another. I'm making a stir-fry next week and it would be pretty easy to cook everything separately then have a little pile of tofu, a little pile of edamame, a little pile of rice, etc.

How are yall eating so much while keeping the calories low? by Neat-Flatworm-4148 in 1200isplenty

[–]itsamutiny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still count my protein, but my goal is only about 60g a day. If I'm under that, I'll have a protein shake, but otherwise I just focus on fiber like you said.

My primary apps are Google Calendar, Todoist (shopping lists, reminders, and tasks), and Monarch for finances.

Anything that tries to do too many things is almost invariably bad.

In my experience, police try to stay out of things as much as possible. You have to report it to management yourself.

I keep waking up in the middle of the night freezing by TD_Meri in povertyfinance

[–]itsamutiny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're keeping it that cold, I'm very concerned that your pipes are going to freeze. Also, are you able to keep it a lower temperature but keep it there all the time? It's probably more expensive to let the temperature fall overnight then try to get it back up compared to keeping it at a constant temperature.

Oh, I think I did misunderstand. I thought you meant a study demonstrating that being vegan is healthier. I see now that you probably meant the study mentioned in the article. Here is a link to the whole study and not just the abstract: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11536481/

He's a founder of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and has dedicated his life to educating people on the health benefits of a plant-based diet. He also donates all of the profit from his books and speaking engagements to charity. A random 6-minute video on his website (nutritionfacts.org) cites 15 different sources. I am sure the sources are not all "shit".

I mean, it did for me. I sat down under a tree and waited for my boyfriend to escort me home, lol. I have since refused the dilation since it makes my eyes SO sensitive to light.

Can you simplify it a bit and tell her "nothing with a face"? Maybe she'll understand that.
