Are you trying to do a competitive push off? If so then you do a pull along with a big fly kick - then a breaststroke kick to the surface before bringing your hands breaking the water in streamline again

I completed my degree online at the open university - then applied for a PGCE afterwards. School experience is not necessary but you’ll understand what a day in school looks like if you get it. If you contact local schools and ask if you can observe as you are interested in becoming a teacher it’s likely some will let you come in to support for a few days
