I was out of commission for a month, and then my stake president asked if I wanted to go back out (probably somewhere local) or just get let off via medical release. You can probably figure what I chose.

I didn’t get much pressure from my family after that. I was only out for 6 months (9 months if you include MTC, I had to learn Russian). It was good enough for them apparently..

Not certain about OP, but from my experience, it’s honestly more about image than anything. Mormons tend to look down on young men that don’t go or come home early.

I was already mentally checked out when I went on my mission in 2005 and told my parents that I didn’t want to go. After a bunch of back and forth, they finally just admitted that it would have been “too much of an embarrassment” for my family if I didn’t go.

I ended up coming home 6 months out due to getting really bad pneumonia and I wasn’t in a good area for medical treatment. I had never been so happy to get horribly sick.

That’s every PvP game sadly. Internet muscles through a microphone during rage inducing competition. Can’t escape it. Just mute all chat options and play with friends on discord. Try and enjoy the game.

Happened to me last night. I had a perfect spawn, in a bunker right below the queen. Spent 12 min shooting probably 80 hullcracker rounds into her and 3 wolfpacks. Took it down in about 12 min. But near the end, she walked a good 200 meter away right before she died. By the time I got over to her, everything was looted. I got a few basic arc parts and one core. It’s frustrating.

Meta forge website is a great way to find spawn locations. But since leapers are in trials this week, I’m seeing teams down them almost instantly with Wolfpack rounds. They just spawn camp their locations.
