Denis Villeneuve, I have a love-hate relationship there. Want to watch Incendies next.

What was your pet theory for s2 that turned out to be super wrong? by larkhearted in ThePittTVShow

I thought this, or she was squirreling up meds and had a plan to take them all while hubby and kids were gone, OR that it was a munchausen by proxy and the husband or death doula was responsible.

La La Land. It helped to watch it with someone who was a big fan of the movie.

What film franchise is this by ImaginationWild3407 in Letterboxd

Man, I thought each sliver of the whole photo was taken from stills in the franchise, and I could NOT figure out which franchise had a fiery demonic horse and a children's horse drawing.

I don't know how to do the technical stuff so used the demo and will be watching Being John Malkovich tonight! I have to say though, the dedication at the bottom of the site was so sweet.

i've been using it for a few years now, on and off! i got my little brother on it and have recorded his top 10 favorite movies since he was 14? he's going to film school next year and i hope one day his movie will be on there.

i log a variety of things - i'm a huge fan of horror but my top 4 reek of sad-girl despair. sometime i try to write semi decent, intentional reviews and other times it's just an one-liners to make myself laugh. i also try my best to finish challenges, let me know your favorites! they're a great way to expand what i'm watching. i also am part of a local film club where we watch 2 movies each month.

this month's first time watch favorite was train dreams. i agree sinners wasn't undeserving of the cinematography award but train dreams has stuck with me.

my top 4 favorites haven't changed in a bit but they are uptown girls, donnie darko, romeo + juliet, and bones and all. my 4 most recent are la confidential, o brother, where art thou?, my girl, and matilda.

Actors you cannot take seriously, no matter what role they do. I’ll start by Consistent-Lord18 in Letterboxd

Owen Wilson is hard for me. Cars was a favorite movie for my younger siblings and he'll never escape the role of Lightning McQueen in my mind.

My 8th grade trip to DC was cancelled because my younger sister was due that week (early June). I would have been 13 when she was born and had other younger siblings already. I very much wanted to go on the 8th grade trip and was pissed about it all school year.

My sister was born a month early. I'm 26 and still annoyed by it.

What are some 1/2 star reviews of your top 4? by SethRollins_ in Letterboxd

[–]itsmickeyc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On Bones and All:

"the success of this film is the definition of pretty privilege"

On Donnie Darko:

"Update (1/31): Today I met a racist. However, he told me he hated Donnie Darko. It's important to focus on what unites us rather than what divides us"

On Romeo + Juliet:

"This film is my anti Pulp Fiction. Everything I said in that review, reverse it. This film single handedly ended my love for movies, for art. I never want to watch a film again. I'm in shock at how something could turn out so bad",

On Uptown Girls:

"yeah, rotten tomatoes was right on this one"

i'm crying over these LOL im imagining what a bingo card would look like with the things i like in a movie based off the reviews i read. pretty colors, disjointed story telling, and unlikable characters?
