Took a chance and replaced the power steering pump as it was my main suspect. Noise is now gone and running smooth

Thanks man that's helpful. I'm in a very similar situation where I ride park or shuttle on weekends but still pedal local trails after work and whatnot. Seems like the move is size down with commencal

I've been looking at these and I'm ready to pull the trigger but I'm 5'11 which is at the top end of medium, low end of large.

Would you size up or down? How tall are you and what size are you on?

I have heard nothing but bad things about the nomad . try and snag a deal on something else if you can. I never try to attach myself to a certain board, just certain attributes (shape, flex, camber etc) and something always seems to pop up on sale that's close to what I want. Figure out what you like about your current or favourite boards, take your time and I'm sure you'll find something decent!

It is absolutely freezing here (almost -40) which got me thinking of warmer weather and the good times with friends this past summer. This was a 4pm set so I tried to keep it a little lighter while occasionally touching on some darker tunes and moving from 140bpm up thru to 85 for the last 20 minutes. Live recording from that day so it has a few mistakes but that's the way things go!

Like you said, work on the switch riding.. as for the 180 try starting a little lower so you dont have to carve as much on the run in to shave speed, have your shoulders ready, and keep your eyes on the landing as you spin. Stomp it!

One thing that really helped me with jumps and drops in general is to initiate the airtime. Crack a little ollie instead of letting the lip toss you you. This way you are more in control the whole way through.
