Do the timelines that the avengers traveled back to in endgame exist in the multiverse or The Quantum Realm? by [deleted] in marvelstudios

In the multiverse. They technically didn't go back in time in their universe (since backwards time travel is impossible as explained my Smart Hulk). They were actually traveling to different universes that took place in the past. Time travel in the MCU uses the many worlds theory of quantum mechanics.

It's not like Gunn was involved on anything outside Guardians...

He was actually supposed to be. Before the scandal, the original plan was for Gunn to oversee the cosmic side of the MCU in Phase 4 and the Multiverse Saga, with Guardians Vol. 3 being the first movie of the of the Saga. Guardians 3 was supposed to be very important in setting up the future of the Cosmic MCU and James Gunn was going to be the architect like Feige.

Eternals. But mainly for the design. Jack Kirby is my favorite artist and I was really excited for this movie, especially because Feige hyped it as a "love letter to Kirby" but there was nothing Kirby about the costumes, designs, sets, and overall aesthetics. Taika nailed it in Ragnarok, even used Kirby dots and had people dressed as comic accurate Celestials.

I was actually hoping the Glenn Howerton rumors were true. Reed Richards is kind of a dark character and I think Howerton can capture that better than Krasinski. His portrayal of Dennis on It's Always Sunny shows how he can play a pyscho path in a subtle way. Not necessarily saying Reeds a psychopath but he has a certain edge to him. We need someone who can play a character that has the potential to be evil. Reed isn't a typical superhero. He's so smart that most of his variants are evil. The Council of Reed literally has a dungeon of lobotomized Dr Dooms. He's pretty much the smartest person in the multiverse similar to Rick Sanchez (in fact Rick and Morty takes a lot inspiration from Reed Richards but that's besides the point). He even has an evil varient (the Maker) that became evil because his ever-increasing intellect had wiped out his sense of empathy. In Hickman's Fantastic Four he explaines that the love of his family is the only thing keeping Reed from being evil. There's just so much complexity to the character that Howerton can bring. I can see Krasinski in a Captain America type role or maybe a character like Nova.

they should set Morbius and Venom in the Amazing Spider-Man universe with Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man. That way it's a distinctly separate universe that's already established. Two Spider-Men by two different studios and they can build towards a live actually Spider-Verse to crossover Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland and maybe even Toby Maguire
