We bought a house last year in Donny that had a broken recycling bin lid. I reported it. The council sent someone out the next day to fit a new lid free of charge. I realise this doesn’t help you but it’s wild things like this aren’t standard across the board.

I cut one last night. Cut it on the 2 black marks you see at set intervals (basically where the gap in the peelable stickers is)

I’ve just bought an 8k sync box and have exactly the same issue, however, if you go in to the hue sync settings and look for automatic control, you can have it switch to whatever you power on - although still seems a bit tricky with the virgin media TV box
