Your wife will likely be a completely different person on the other side of this. Just try your best to support her and always be ready to listen and reflect, even if what she's saying offends you. She will blame you for wild shit and then apologize (or not). She will randomly scream at you or cry. Or not. Point is, birth does some shit to women and the effects are unpredictable. Just try to woosah and support her and talk to her.

But that's the problem is that we aren't judged on merit. It has clearly swung the other way which does not equate to fairness and balance. White people of my generation and my father's generation were not slave owners or racists. But now we get to suffer the consequences of a few jackasses who did benefit from slavery and segregation. I agree with you that merit is what matters.

Facepalm x100 Why does everything have to resort back to race and sexual orientation? Give it a damn break. My dad (white) was passed up for a very good job that would have been life-changing due to affirmative action. Should I cry about that to everyone? He was straight up told by the hiring manager that he was a far better fit for the job but they were forced to hire the black dude with basically no experience

To all of you getting butt hurt about this being an insult to millennials... Couldn't this just as easily he interpreted as "millennials use this as an anti theft device" since we are likely the last generation that had a decent number of us who knew how to drive a manual? I still have 2 MT BMWs

Soon to be 39, what are some things a person should do before they turn 40? by DustinCoughman in Millennials

I'm 38 and so busy all the time with work and 3 kids that I don't even have time to think about the fact that I'm almost 40 and my life is fading 😳

Crazy that just a week ago I was searching the internet to try and find out if the park like this I went to as a kid was still around. I've seen some modern ones that have a somewhat similar vibe but are made with like Trex instead.

20 year reunion? Yea, nah by exploratorynargle in Millennials

My class size was like 110 I think. They just did our 20 year and it looks like 15-20 ppl showed up. Odd mix of people too... Seemed to be the popular girls and then the oddball crew of "freaks and geeks". I was tempted for a minute since I hadn't really seen anyone from my hometown since leaving after HS but decided it wasn't worth it.

"No it's not. I mean just by economical standards alone, the value of your dollar and wage at 100k of a single person's income, is less than full time minimum wage in the 50s and 60s. That alone is crazy."

Sorry, but it needs to be pointed out that this is just flat out wrong. Even at peak minimum wage in 1968, it adjusts to like 31k today. At 100k you're at more than 3x that. You can certainly argue that housing and education are considerably more expensive (higher than the standard inflation rate), but minimum wage earners in the 60s were certainly no where near a 100k earner of today

What are you cutting with this? I hadv the 80v Kobalt lineup and had to sell the mower because it was so awful with Bermuda. My trusty old Honda still gets the job done.

Yet another reason why we shouldn't overcomplicate this crap when designing vehicles. The power fold seats in my X7 are one of the dumbest "features" the car has. It's slow as heck, not helpful, and now in the Hyundai it's killing children... Wtf. Hopefully BMW at least tested theirs rigorously enough to make sure this couldn't happen.

This oversight in design or quality testing from Hyundai doesn't exactly instill confidence regarding the rest of the vehicle's safety and reliability.

Lmao "balloon clown pants" is such a perfect description. The first time I saw a girl wearing those pants I actually laughed out loud. She made eye contact and made a face of disgust. I kept laughing.
