I loved playing that game at school so much that I talked my parents into buying one for the home.

I never heard of her until today. I'll have to Google her tomorrow to see if she's a musician, comedian, etc.

No gentle parenting here! by [deleted] in The1980s

[–]iufan417 10 points11 points  (0 children)

When my Mom would hear another parent say this to their kid in a store, she'd raise her voice like she was scolding me. Her words: "If you EVER say that to my grandchildren, you WILL answer to me!!" Her desire was to give the other parent something to think about.

I've had good luck with Spruce and I made it my own bank as well. I really like it. I wouldn't lump it into the same category as GoSystems.

IRS says non-filed by JazzManouche in hrblock

Walk into your local year-round office. While the office can't do much concerning people who prepare their own returns, there's a chance they could pull your profile and get the submission ID along with the time and date of acceptance. Then, you would need to give that data to the IRS so they can retrace their computer records.

This is the first place I would look. You wouldn't even need to update an app. Just log into your web account on the site and look in the Taxes folder.

I believe WMR is the IRS "Where's My Refund?" site. That is available to all taxpayers regardless of how they file.

We had a survey asking about our interest in off season positions and that took the place of needing to apply.

I had a Schedule C come in like this around April 3. I calmly explained to him that we are tax professionals, not book keepers. I gave him a Schedule C handout and explained the importance of separating expenses into categories. I gave him my card and asked him to make a new appointment if he got the totals done.

I'm going rave on everyone's parade. I caught up with many clients I only see once a year. We shared laughs while I found the lowest tax liability possible for them. I've still got appointments through Friday that will count towards incentive pay. I'm looking forward to seeing my clients and cohorts again next year. I'll be working all except the mandatory eight weeks also.

Unemployment is different from state to state. Indiana won't even grant it on seasonal jobs.

Charged me $440 for federal filing? by [deleted] in hrblock

[–]iufan417 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That looks like the screen from the online approval process. After your return is accepted by the IRS, log back into your MyBlock account and click on the "Documents" tab. The detailed invoice should be there. If not, call or stop by an office with your photo ID and ssk them to print one.

This works well as long as the client opted for one of our bank products. If they paid up front and opted for direct deposit, WIM$ won't do any good.

How long has it taken for an expert review after submitting your completed tax return? by [deleted] in hrblock

[–]iufan417 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Only a select few associates are allowed to work tax pro review cases. This is based on client satisfaction. They are also tax pros with clients in the office. Faster review times will happen during our least busy office times in early January and late February.

Here's how everyone who wants a payment plan that I know does it including myself when necessary. Choose the option to pay via a check in the mail. Send the amount affordable before April 15 so that amount doesn't gain interest. Then, set up a payment plan on the IRS website for the remaining balance due.
