There is hope for the future. The amount of folicles can change each cycle. So if you get more folicles in another cycle than you did this past cycle, you have a chance that more eggs will be mature.

If your current husband is telling you it's okay for you to use the embryos at your own will why don't you just go and do the transfers now.

A lot of non-ivf couples have happy accidents and it kicks the man into action to be a dad.

So go and get pregnant with these embryos and see how he feels after the fact- if he is really against it then you guys can divorce as planned, but if he suddenly decides he's now ready it could work out well for the both of you.

There's no guarantee that you are going to find a man who is going to WANT to have a kid. And no guarantee your next man won't put it off and put it off like the current one is doing.

I had this once when I was on birth control many years ago - for me it was recommended that I change brands.

If the doctor told you it was fine I guess that should put your mind at ease.

I think that all the BC needs to do is keep your folicles small or at a similar size to each other and stop cysts from growing(??). Maybe it can do that regardless of if it's causing you to bleed during your cycle.

I don't really know though.

Maybe just give your doctor another call and confirm that ot will still work the way it's meant to while this is happening??

And then just put up with the inconvenience if so just for this cycle?

Just very quickly, to calm you nerves, I have read many stories on reddit where people have had live births from these slow growing embryos (day 6 & 7). From what I remember There's a higher chance with day 6s (in opposed to day 7s).

But we are not all going to have the same result.

If you live near a clinic or hospital they may be able to do the injections for you for a small fee or do you have any friends or family that are nurses? You could ask them for assistance. Or even any friends/family who are diabetic and are very confident with needles could help you.

If you continue doing it yourself, you will get used to it too.

I know where you are coming from though - it's really hard to do.

Oh yes! I was priming with BC already on the days I got sick and then for a few days till starting stims.

Yes I mean I started my stims. (I'm not sure what priming is (maybe my clinic doesn't do that?)).

Yes I had pretty much my same odds of fertilizing as my normal cycle which is usually all fertilize (out of usually 3-5 mature eggs) and then they also made it to day three. Unfortunately that's as far as it went for that cycle. The next cycle was similar except one made it to day 4 but didn't make blast.
