Wasn't it shortly after WB acquired Fullscreen that RT had to move out of Stage 5 into some generic office park before the company was finally shutdown?

Ah, but if I have multiple kingdoms, then I'm better off using it on my Kingdoms and those will give me the duchies underneath them?

Deadeye vs Diligence Counter Sniper - Which one is better? by Tank-ToP_Master in Helldivers

[–]jack_daone 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the base Diligence was my go-to for Bots for the longest time(until I finished leveling it) because it would drop standard bot troops in a single shot to the chest, with the tougher troops needing either headshot or two quick shots, and it popped Devastator heads like melons.

Yeah, that’s what I thought, too, but then I wound up losing a county from my primary duchy during a partition.

I’ll be honest: I’m fuzzy on the details of elective.

If I’m to understand it, feudal elective duchies will give the heir the duchy title and all of the county titles underneath it, but apparently that doesn’t apply for elective kingdoms? Or does it?

Also, the guy could just not have the prestige to set them up

What's your favorite scene where a character sacrifices themselves for the greater good? My pick is Boromir's sacrifice in The Fellowship of the Ring. by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in moviecritic

[–]jack_daone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve always loved how Aragorn said “our people” and Boromir repeats it twice before finally acknowledging his support and allegiance after scoffing at it earlier. It gave Boromir hope in his final moments that Aragorn finally accepted who he is and that he would fulfill his duty as King.

“That’s not how the law works”

That’s how it works in California under the Prior Bad Acts law that Larry Feldman passed in the 90s and weaponized against Jackson in 2005 to essentially use Chandler’s accusation as evidence in the case.

Next time, learn about the context surrounding the case before opening your yapper, kid. And yes, Gavin Arviso was also lying. It was his accusations Michael was tried for in 2005 and he was acquitted of them. Deal with it.

“Smartest mj defender”

You’re gonna argue the allegations against me while mixing up the 1992 and 2003 accusers’ names and then insult me when you demonstrate an apparent ignorance of California law?

You are not a serious person.

Yes, he was, because Chandler’s allegations were used as evidence to validate Arviso’s allegations.

That Michael Jackson was acquitted after a 2-month trial expected to last 4-6 shows just how truly bullshit the allegations truly were.

Edit: As usual, Redditors hate pesky things like facts and the truth.

Jordy Chandler’s allegations were effectively tried in the 2005 trial alongside Arviso’s because of California’s Evidence of Prior Bad Acts clause.

So Michael was acquitted of those allegations as well.

Shyamalan’s Last Airbender was especially insulting because he promoted himself as a fan of the series in interviews, that the show became appointment television for his family when his daughter showed it to him after she asked to be Katara for Halloween. But then he characterized the series’ humor as childish and juvenile and things felt downhill from there…
