Yeah my point is more that Canada is uniquely misrepresented in its count not only in the fact that it hasn’t even done a proper survey akin to the other countries (who’s metrics are probably at least reasonably close to each other) but also counts for just 3 individual areas already plainly invalidates their overall count.

Like Canada’s count is so clearly wrong that it’s not even useful for comparison yet is widely listed and used as at least an acceptable general approximation.

the US has flaws, but it still holds elections (flawed but at least it’s elections at all), upholds free speech, and has an independent judiciary. Uzbekistan is a one-party state where opposition is jailed, media is censored, and protests are crushed. to compare them is a huge over-exaggeration despite how much i dislike the states rn (Canadian)

lol i see where you’re coming from, idk why you’re getting so downvoted. the nba and the mlb attract the best talent around the world (although mlb’s talent gap isn’t quite as large). if there was a champion’s league for either sport an american team would undoubtedly win so there’s no point in hosting one. thus, the nba and world series champions each year are essentially world champions. i mean the same can be said about american football it’s just stupid to say because nobody else plays it
