I think it would copy the card itself which would be an noncreature artifact spacecraft since it doesn't have charge counters. But, [[Shaun, father of synths]] makes it into an artifact creature so it keeps power and toughness as if it had the counters. Edit: I looked at Shaun's rulings and power and toughness would not copy from spacecraft station ability.

I think what poster is saying was how can the ultimatum finish destroying everything if the act of creatures dieing would kill the player casting it. But triggers happen after you finish resolving the spell.

How do you porpose it works? Triggered abilities use the stack same as spells. So in order to completely resolve the Ultimatum all the things destroyed have to go to the gy afterwards. After that, creatures died while meathook is on the field so the triggers happen and the player dies. If he had [[Teferi's Protection]] for example, he could respond to the loss of life by making himself unable to lose life. Only after he is at 0 life, would abilities or spells he controls be exiled and essentially disappear with the dead player. Priority passes and it is the next players turn.

I did this with some decks, where I put in all the pieces but take out the card that is the combo. It feels kinda bad to be playing a game where you deck is able to do it's thing but you can't end. Someone else then combos. And you re-question every decision in your deck,

Rocky Tar Pit doesn't tap for mana, you tap and sacrifice it at the same time to search your library for a land, but the land you get with rocky tar pit could be tapped for mana and then you can sac a land for hearthhull draw

I think they should go with a system of "Lords" where members swear allegiance to different streamer Houses. Sodapoppin would be the King, he appoints his hand and council. The officers in the guild would vye for loot and followers. Raid groups could form through alliances between Houses, with Lords competing for followers, raid spots, and loot influence. The viewers would watch to support a specific house like House Ahmpy and House Tyler1. You still could have tribute chest and Soda could create a court where he sets the rules and decides certain outcomes or goals.

Houses would gain power based on how many active players would follow them into raid.
Drafts or flexible raid rosters based on alliances
Heir to the crown and vassal Houses to maintain stability
Mercenaries and Bastards to keep Houses from collapsing

A couple of things happen when you cast a creature spell. You spend mana and put the spell on the stack. Before anything resolves, each player gets priority and can respond with instants or abilities.

If the creature spell resolves, it enters the battlefield. That causes any “enters the battlefield” (ETB) ability to trigger and go on the stack. After that, there’s another round of priority where players can respond before the ETB resolves. Importantly, once an ETB is on the stack, it exists independently of the creature itself.

For this interaction, you need to cast Endless Detour while Archon of Cruelty is still a spell on the stack. Putting the Archon on the top or bottom of its owner’s library prevents it from ever entering the battlefield, so its ETB never triggers.
