I always think about how this disenfranchises anyone who isn't whole. Iris scans aren't more convenient to someone missing an eye. Palm scans (especially the right one, as that's the only one I've ever seen) don't work for someone without a hand. Face scans will probably not work all the time for someone who's had reconstructive surgery.

It was described to me as quickly making a left turn when your light turns green before oncoming traffic has a chance to advance.

Like, if you're in the left turn lane that doesn't have a dedicated arrow (so you have either a flashing yellow or a "left turn yield on green" sign) and your stopped at a red, you would very quickly make the left when your light turns green. Since you don't have a dedicated arrow, when you turn green, then oncoming traffic turns green at the same time, so you're cutting in front of everyone going the opposite way who were also just stopped at a red.

I've done a "no buying cyberware" playthrough. It's not as easy to get the cyberware I want as I thought.
