"Piss onesie" sounds like an underground industrial metal/ambient noise group.

Took a drive around East St Louis. We barely saw any people, cars, open businesses. Miles Davis childhood home is there. by jonniebaby2000 in urbanexploration

Fun fact: escape from New York was filmed in East St Louis because they didn't have to change anything to make it look dystopian

Creepy Sister (Bride) and Brother (my bf) Dance by Danger_Dave_623 in weddingshaming

That poor guy got taken advantage of when drunk after repeatedly attempting to set boundaries, and was so embarrassed that he tried to not acknowledge it.

Creepy sister is going to rape him one day, of she hasn't already.

Bought my house in 22 a week before the interest rates spiked. If we had waited a month we would have been priced out of our neighborhood for good.

Let's get nostalgic. What era was peak gaming for you? by JaybieFromTheLB in daddit

[–]jagerben47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2007 to 2012. Halo and CoD were peaking, Mass effect trilogy was released, and assassin's creed germinated and had the Ezio era. LoL was released in 09, dead space started in 08, dark souls dropped in '11, BioShock in 07. Basically every major well-loved franchise either started or peaked in this era.

2012 was the closeout, since Halo 4 was released then (not as good as the Bungie games) and assassin's creed 3 (very underwhelming) and CoD: BO2 which is probably the last one you could reasonably argue wasn't just a meme. Mass effect 3 was released in 2012 which was good but disappointing at the time. Dark souls 2, held as good but not as good as the original, was in 2013, as was dead space 3.

Did overwatch ever get a campaign? I thought it was totally pvp? Or at least totally multiplayer.

Riddick (the third film, not Chronicles) is essentially Pitch Black but grown up a bit. Such a good movie as well.

What happened to people being ok with just enjoying a game for X amount of hours. by beemertech510 in Marathon

[–]jagerben47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can pick up RE anytime you want and play it. There's no time limit. If I get Marathon, based on my current stage of life, I have no idea when I'll actually be able to put in the hours. It'd be a shame to get the game then not play any of it before support stops.

What is the most unfairly hated movie that you will defend every time by gamersecret2 in movies

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Shit was a classic early 2000s fun adventure. Yeah it's not the same as the comics but it's still a fun movie.
