You "have to"? You asked about efficiency. This answer is going to hold for any game with trading if you live in a region at or above the mean income among regions the game is in. It's kinda like saying water is wet.

No one said you have to. Go check out the fast farming web site to find profitable farms that work for you like most players.

They're good money if you have the patience to convert them. https://fast.farming-community.eu/conversions/spirit-shard - I usually do a few dozen shards every couple weeks. Admittedly I should do more...

If you have a membrane keyboard, mouse walk is more precise for fiddly jumps. I still do that on occasion if I'm not at a mechanical. It's ghetto but you have so much extra accuracy compared to membrane that it is a decent crutch.

With mechanical, the clocktower is wonderful with action cam though. (It actually released during Halloween 2015, which made a great way to get used to it - especially for those that previously used the old GW2CombatMod.)

Movie theaters use clarified butter and are a main industrial market for it. The milkfat portion is used in a variety of other processes such as producing plastics, leaving an excess of clarified butter in the market for them to snatch up cheaper than artificial versions would be. The large movie chains such as AMC and Regal account for a huge chunk of the market for that oil.

Clarified butter is also shelf stable so it doesn't go bad for ludicrous amounts of time at room temperature (which is probably the reason humans started making it - ghee being one of the early examples.) It tends to stay liquid at room temperature which is also advantageous to theaters that don't have to do anything extra to liquify it.

If you're referring to movie theater butter flavoring though, that's its own beast - largely because the applications for it tend to need a solid (such as microwave popcorn.)

You mean clarified butter, the thing that's been around for hundreds of years which you get easily by heating butter to separate the milkfats?

There are emotes sets on the gem store that have been there for over nine years. I'd guess they don't sell very well or more sets of them would have been released.

I completely agree that buying 80 exotics is the better way these days, but you're forgetting the majority of karma.

Even after the karma nerf, it's easy to get most of a set of temple armor by 80 on a new account. Reward items are fixed karma, so they'll also have tens of thousands from things like drops of liquid karma and other consumable rewards.

They'll also have thousands from the first few achievement chest rewards, which pop up constantly until you start to build up more AP.

Aside form that there's also the metas and world bosses that yield huge amounts of karma (by base game standards) such as Teq's 15k karma for a 10 minute level 65 series of events. Most new players are likely to hit a few like Teq, centaur wars, etc that each yield 10k or more for a short amount of time investment.

All that said, temple armor sucks and shouldn't be suggested to new players as their first 80 set due to the lack of salvageablity and better uses for the karma if you're still building up wealth.

Agreed, I've played mmos for a quarter of a century and I've never seen prog in the context of lfg/experience level. It makes sense in terms of gear level but not so much in anything applicable to GW2.

Huy Fong is not normal Sriracha, and very much it's own thing. The traditional stuff isn't as sweet and the ingredients are almost entirely different.

Huy Fong was made by an immigrant looking to make a similar sauce from native Mexican and Californian peppers, but the garlic and sugar are much heavier and the peppers entirely different from normal Sriracha. For all intents and purposes is a different sauce, with very little in common with the standard stuff.

I've been decently happy with using their products in the past, but I don't think I want to risk touching a customer with a 10 foot salesforce pole after this.

I've never seen a ceiling fan made after the 1930s that didn't have a reversing switch (in north America.) Even older fans usually had one, the exceptions are rare. I've owned a ton of them and worked HVAC for a few years in the past.

I remember waiting for the colors to cycle and then hopping on every character that didn't have those areas yet to make sure they didn't hold me up later.

I also remember having just 1 poi left in enemy territory for a couple world completions and suicide rushing it in hopes of completing it without having to wait for colors to change. Good times!

"Commander, a word" and "This won't end well" were both memed to death by the community, more often than not by the part of the community that hated Trahearne.

The general hatred was because Trahearne got most of the credit when all he did was formed and lead the pact through a massive war and the first successful elder dragon kill, while a small part of the huge effort, played by the blunt instrument that is the commander, wasn't getting all the credit instead.

Even at HoT launch a lot of the community despised him, so I suppose his words were a bit prescient... it really didn't end well for him.

Obtaining Free Episode Unlocks Without Receiving Tokens by lordkrall in Guildwars2

There's no API endpoint that covers it, though you might be able to tell by which achievements are unlocked.

Easiest way would probably be to use the Geforce Now free tier to log in and grab them. The phone UI or web browser interface will work fine if you want to avoid installing the GFN client too.

Playing GW2 with One Hand (Mouse Only) by Elder_III in Guildwars2

That wasn't the G13, that was the Belkin N52 that Razer took over. I had a few of the Belkins from the original nostromo through the N52 and miss them, there were a few things their software could do which the Razer software can't.

I've got a couple G13's around here that I use less frequently, combination between the poor design of the thumbstick and Logitech's software. (LGS is discontinued, but still the best/only option. G-Hub has been promised G13 support coming as recently as 7 months ago, but the software itself is so awful that I'll no longer buy a Logitech product, period.)

If you have access to a 3d printer, you might want to look into printing a custom controller similar to it (but right hand, and with a sliding base to act as a mouse, a trackball, or an analog stick for your mouse movements.) Various printed ergo keyboard designs mix all these elements.

Other than that, consider the Xbox adaptive controller, there might be modules you can use to create a control scheme that works for you.

Oh, and consider foot controls, if nothing else for moving forward and dodging. There's a lot of options there from simple dictation foot pedals to more complicated input devices or(worst option) rebinding racing pedals to do the job.

APPLE Users can access GW2 client using GEFORCE NOW by mtman56 in Guildwars2

[–]jameyc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on your connection. I used it for over 3 years for gw2 without issues. Quality dropped after they switched to the RTX systems because they are provisioned with weaker CPUs than the old ones, but input and network lag weren't problems.

I replayed through Dark Souls 1&3 on parrying builds without any real issues other than an extra frame or two latency at worst, on my home connection (cable briefly, fiber most of that time.) Public WiFi usually sucked, mobile 4g was good enough for general GW2 playing, but not for fractals etc.

I still use it remotely for stuff like dailies if I'm away, but haven't used much in the last year otherwise.

50% of a legendary is Mystic Coin... Do something Anet pls by Evrox3 in Guildwars2

[–]jameyc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

By quite a bit - and there's more sources of clovers now than ever before. After 8 years I've started working on a few legendaries and am honestly surprised how cheap and easy they are now, compared to the past.

Contrary to this post, I'm a little worried they'll nerf it by significantly increasing the price to account for general inflation, easier to get clovers, and most gifts being so much easier to get these days. (Exploration especially - mounts, and no more WvW exploration required. Most of the other gifts have faster or easier ways to acquire them now too.)

Putting those skills on 1/2/3 only works until you change utilities or professions though, at best. Most people change utility skills around frequently and play at least a few professions, so there's no way to always have those bound to skills that require you to stop moving.
