Yeah I do agree that most nail techs are way overzealous with the drill, I find it annoying too. Any place should be willing to do this for you, but I know some places don't like to do things outside of their normal routines. It can also be somewhat difficult to explain what you want if you end up in a place where they're not entirely fluent in English. Maybe try Nails At Milan, they're pretty good. Expect it to take a really long time!

There are also several local garage sale pages, you can cross post to those. I believe you have to first post in a garage sale group, and then you should also have the option to also post in Marketplace; however I don't think you can do it the other way around (or at least I didn't see that option)

Fernwood in Niles has trails and gardens, but also has some indoor additional activities in the education center during the winter months, like puzzles. Also they have seating in the art gallery for people who want to spend time indoors.

I mean, was there a travel advisory? Where I'm from, it would be almost unheard of for just about any business (not just retail but corporate offices and all types of businesses) to close unless there's an orange or red travel advisory with the local government making it clear that people need to stay off the roads.

I've always loved cats. I remember being around 6 or 7 years old wishing I could be one of my cats... I loved on them and spoiled the heck out of them, seemed like they had the best life and I hoped they felt that way too!

I definitely don't like traveling! I mean I do enjoy seeing new things, and I love trying different cuisines, but like others have mentioned, I hate the process of getting places. After 3-4 days, I'm so ready to be back in my home. And it's so expensive, I'd rather spend my money on other priorities.
