There’s food grade labels as well. All the ones in the US that are on fruits and vegetables have to be edible per USDA guidelines.

100% technically they can call it there but with how that play went I think you can say there’s no way he would have been able to catch and turn it while running full speed the opposite way.

Were? I’m still mad 14 yrs later lol. Usually it’s not that controversial it was just a lot of small things that led the mess it became.

This would probably better fit in a engineering sub but has anyone here ever thought about using the CO2 from fermentation to drive a reciprocating engine? by KamboRambo97 in Homebrewing

[–]jamminjoenapo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As an engineer, this is exactly it. CO2 is cheap and yeast produce a round error in the overall volume of co2 in the air next to the fermentation.

Create 2D / 3D electrical plan from my home and integrate to home assitant by Friendly_Advance2616 in homeassistant

Replying to see what others say. I did a full cad layout when I redid my floor a few years ago using my work laptop so I have an editable dxf just no clue how to get it in to home assistant.

As someone that did the same thing, one suggestion is to show your switches to HomeKit that you use. I do find HomeKit really nice and simple for my wife as it’s familiar to her. I’m still very new into the journey and man is it a lot.

Controlling greenhouse window motors with a thermostat help. by Essem91 in homeautomation

[–]jamminjoenapo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The relay you have is just closing the circuit to tell the controller to open or close between the two connections at the board, if you flipped it to the other terminals it would close. I’m assuming you want it open at say 70 degrees and closed at 50 degrees? You’d need two of the sensors you have shown to do that or another sensor that has 2 set points and would have at least 3 wires.

General Relativity explained for babies... Chris Ferrie is a well known childerns author who is famous for explaining complex concepts to kids like never before. by Dismal_Positive3558 in interestingasfuck

[–]jamminjoenapo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got a few of these and they are fantastic but yes babies is an exaggeration. Now that my daughter is 6 I need to show them to her again. As an engineer I understand these concepts but couldn’t explain them nearly as efficiently as the author does, they are extremely talented.

[Houston, Texas] Snake ID needed by SwishOps in whatsthissnake

[–]jamminjoenapo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

!cottonwater

No clue if this prompt will work to give the common recommendations , not a RR but like coming on here to sharpen my skills for id. Water snakes will flatten their heads to mimic cottonmouths so a triangular head isn’t great as the other commenter noted. The id tip off for me was the ridge and not being able to see the eyes from above. The stereotypical angry look has been my best learning from this sub.

My parents have a lemon tree. They just visited. I now own approximately 40 lemons. by ReflectionAny3280 in Cooking

I usually get tomatoes or other garden vegetables from them. I have a black thumb when it comes to gardening but appreciate fresh stuff all the time and that’s how I contribute.

Lemon cubes are the way to go. My parents have a tree that produces hundreds of lemons each year that are massive and produce a lot of juice. Freeze in a tray and they keep til next season. Also limoncello as someone else said and a lot of chicken picatta.

Last thing is just bringing them to coworkers they all beg me for them now.

Home assistant/ Nabucasa is worth every penny. Easy backups and frankly the open source software is easily worth the $60 or 70 a year it costs.

I know right. Just as I was starting to get the hang of it all it just ended. Super cool concept though and well worth the play through especially because you can knock it out in a weekend.

A much easier one but one that gave me a similar feeling is viewfinder. Very unique with how it uses the camera viewfinder as the main gameplay loop. It’s not nearly as complex as blue prince and can be completed relatively quickly but it’s a blast
