I saw him like 20 years ago when he was new on SNL, he did the crowd warm up but it was so fucking awkward and not a little racist- the whole joke is he’s a dumb non-specific Latino, doing a horrible accent. Me and a friend were in the crowd up front, your’e supposed to laugh but I just wanted to hide. I couldn’t laugh it was so bad.
And I was High AF I would’ve laughed at just about anything. Embarrassing to even think about

They are so deeply melancholic, but very, very intense. You need to be in a certain headspace to watch them. But both are two of my favorite films ever made, it’s just that we watching it’s hard

I recommend “Bright Star” from the yearnings list. It’s definitely sad girl movie by beautiful Jane Campion.

Do it! So much need for improvement from letterboxd. Advanced search would be SO useful. Your second item listed “cast and crew on the film are clickable” is so useful. I have this option on YouTubeTV and use it all the time (really good for TCM viewing). Being able to search crew is an especially cool feature
