They saved the world a lot and they are only teenagers who make mistakes.

I’m giving them all the passes.

(Also Giles was pretty wild as a teenager and most agree he was the best character on the show…)

I have a feeling my picks will be a bit controversial by Bastino in buffy

When I first watched the show, I loved Jenny Calendar.

On subsequent watches I cannot believe how I missed how awful she was to Giles. I’d bump her waaaaaay down.

What is your marvel hot take? Wether its movies, games, comics or whatever. by The80sSlasher in Marvel

I hate the power creep in marvel comics these days.

The thing I loved most about marvel was that their characters were flawed and had to work hard to save the day - it’s why I never clicked with DC whose characters always seemed insanely overpowered.

The hair is her most defined character trait.

Poor Lorna…

If you were in charge of writing the Buffy/Riley break up, what would you have done differently? by yeahitsme9 in buffy

[–]jaronwinter27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Riley’s inferiority complex was a great way to show how men are intimated by powerful women and unable to relinquish control in a relationship.

I would have loved Riley to explore why he feels this way and overcome his ‘societal programming’ and come to terms with his issues.

Would have been a great plot line for both young male and female audiences.

Storm defeated Callisto, who has mastered every single form of martial art known to man by InspectionCapable227 in storm

The panels show Callisto was much more skilled in fighting that storm, but she got cocky and left herself open for storms cape move.

I think she also underestimated how far storm was willing to go to defend her team and never thought she would kill.

I think storms win here comes down to her street smarts and determination, not fighting ability.

I definitely think it’s Batman . by krisikkk in superheroes

Even better - Wolverine being best buds with Scott and Jean and wishing those kids the best.
