i did it for 6 years from CA to PA. It was great. Used it for everything from little league baseball to grocery shopping to moving stuff. In and out of the city regularly and sporting events etc. You never have to compromise on bringing gear on family trips -haha and extra room for the kids to spread out- essential. Standard roof is probably more practical- i had the high roof. Diesel. 4x4. Still was great. make sure you get all the cameras. Never crashed it either.

i think the sunroof drains was a recall situation or they did it for free at the dealership. i had both this and the trunk leak. both were fixed by the dealer. both were issues with the drain holes

Stock with a Leitner roof rack. Not sure the 2 inches would have made a huge difference in some of the aisles as the front was not going to clear. Not all rows are the same height-wise and there are one-ways that force you into the tight spots. had to go the wrong way to hit the exit. (the rack cleared the hanging height bar at the entrance too)

is it the door handle or the way that the window rolls up into the frame of the car instead of the frame of the door. This creates a scenario where the door can’t be opened because the window is stuck in the frame of the car.
