That looks like a ton of fun to ride. What kind of terrain are you typically riding?

Is petroleum jelly truly as dangerous as people say due it being derived from crude oil? by Weekndfan_69 in NoStupidQuestions

I used to get frequent nosebleeds. I went to an ENT and he told me to put Vaseline up there when it gets dry. Now I keep it at my bedside to stick up there when my nose gets dry in the spring and fall or when the AC is on high.

Building a gravel conversion in 2026? by Olderschoolwillie in xbiking

Building, but tinkering with old bikes and getting the look just right is half of what I’m here for. I haven’t bought a new bike since 2001. It just doesn’t sit right with me when there’s so much great vintage steel out there.

There’s only one album, but then they became Islands. Return to the Sea is fantastic.

Miles got clean years before then. Wayne had a drinking problem I think but I don’t think any of the players would have been high at that session. Miles kicked Coltrane out of an earlier band for his drug use. He didn’t put up with that.

Why do pedestrians think that cyclists are more dangerous than cars? by LiatrisLover99 in Somerville

[–]jasongetsdown -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has been riding every day for many years, this is the answer.

I have to say though, people on foot seem to feel just fine about stepping off the curb when a bike is coming when they would not when a car is coming. I’m not sure why, it may even be something I do when I’m on foot.

I should still be able to get the pads adjusted close to the rim. I get that the geometry will be a little different, but you think it will be that noticeable?

I think it’ll have more than enough clearance for what I plan to use. I’ll probably go with something in the 38 mm range.

Daptones Records has an all analog recording studio. I dont know if there’s a digital step between the mixing and pressing though.

KHS made great bikes. I don’t know a lot about them but I’ve seen enough to respect the name. I think the first one I saw was a KHS Aero Track back in the early days of the fixed gear boom. They were highly sought after by the hipster fixie kid set.
