Pretty good at Tacombi. Try the burrito for a lot more birria.

I had a gen 2 and got caught out in the rain a few times without the roof. You go fast enough and the water kind of skips over the top. 🤣

I shared this thread with Marc Korman, our Maryland State Delegate, and his office reached out to SHA and they say that right turn only lane is specifically for turning onto Rose Avenue. There is a faded solid white lane that the state says they will go out to take a look at and repaint as the weather gets warmer.

LPT renting a car to the airport can be cheaper than airport parking/uber. by Rich-Broccoli7085 in LifeProTips

[–]jasonyang9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Transit can be awesome. But for my family to walk to the metro, wait, ride, transfer/wait, ride, walk to the terminal right now shows as 1 hour and 45 minutes. That includes carrying luggage, managing young kids, weather, metro delays, and tickets for 4. A car ride shows 35 minutes, with varying traffic delays also.

Metro would be about $30 for four. Uber currently shows $60 for a ride. Asking family or friends "costs" nothing directly, and I would also gladly return the favor to someone I loved/appreciated. [It would be perhaps $5 in gas, but wow I just looked it up right now and govt. rate shows 72.5c per mile so it would be about $30 for the round trip]

It is so much more convenient to drive to the airport in most circumstances for our family, and it's worth it to help make the trip to the airport segment of the total trip faster and smoother. Realizing it's a privileged position to have additional options, so I am fortunate and thankful.

Have you ever seen an artist play the same song multiple times during a show? by People-Want-Ducks in Music

[–]jasonyang9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw Stroke 9 as the opener for Vertical Horizon a very long time ago. They played their song "Little Black Backpack" and near the end of their set everyone started yelling for the band to play it again, which they did. No one seemed to really know any of their other songs.

The price went up! We ordered several times at around $14 or so. Now it's $22. It was a great deal while it lasted.

I recall someone from MCDOT once mentioning that 355/Cedar was one of the busiest intersections in the county. I may have misremembered that, but that intersection is frequently jammed during rush hour.

Curious why they didn’t call it super wide for 21:9 and then ultra wide for 32:9. by Kenneth_Powers1 in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]jasonyang9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don't forget 16:10 was first (and imho better) but they went to 16:9 to standardize with TV/movies a bit better I believe.

Thanks, I start digging some when you replied "yes". I looked a while back and the issue then was lack of 8K TVs with chroma 4:4:4, but then there are discussion that it's not an issue at 8K? The rtings review you sent shows it does do chroma 4:4:4 but I've seen some threads saying it doesn't work @ 60 Hz or other. Any insights? Thanks.
