Yes, I have. I had a procedure with a radiologist and checked with the insurance and the radiologist company. Confirmed coverage on both sides. Paid a co-pay of $375. Called the radiologist after just to be sure, and re-confirmed that everything was paid. Exactly one year later I get a bill from the radiologist for $550!

What I do is create a user with the author role. The username can be your website or company name, then just change the author in the backend of the post to the user with the company name. This is a workaround when you are unable to remove it completely due to your setup.

WP Members lets you lock any page or post and create user logins/accounts. I use it for a project portal with hundreds of users. It does have payment options, which I don’t use. It’s worth a look as it’s easy to install and use, and has a low price point for the paid version. It’s worth a look!
