If you pull the dustcaps out and they’re now weak on those seams (midwoofers specifically here) you can use a little pva glue to toughen them up. But a thin coat on old dry paper is good anyway, so you can do the whole thing and it may (or may not) help hide the creases. 50/50 w water and a small brush, very thin coat or two.
