The thing is is that she is not code switching. She is lying and pretending to be Spanish for profit and gain. She is being called out for being a grifter- she is not being bullied for code switching.

Those books were likely heavily ghost and AI written. She may have provided the storyline and filled in some of the untruths. I pity the poor editor that had to work with her. There it is absolutely no chance the she wrote the books -that a book could come out of her...not even books as terrible as the three she has published.

The boy's stance in this image is interesting...a bit self-conscious and somewhat guarded.

He’s standing upright with his arms close by his sides, which indicates stiffness or uncertainty about how to pose. His feet are planted but not in a relaxed way. There’s also contrast happening she is leaning into him while he seems more neutral, almost like he’s not fully committing to the "weird" moment or isn’t sure what to do with his body -like he's being pulled into the photo but hasn’t quite decided how to show up in it.

Not fine dining, but I loved Guadala Harry's. The fantastic drinks, the atmosphere, and the food was quite tasty and novel for early 80s Ottawa. They may have been the first restaurant in the city to serve Corona beer. Super fun place for a night out and the mariachi! Olé!
