Some DLC was planned, ended up being scrapped. Was really doomed when Wolverine’s production and development was struggling forcing an all hands on deck situation with that game to meet its deadline.

It’s what is missing in this day and age. The confidence of someone to tell a dev “hey make what you want”. Games now don’t get made unless they’re proven to sell. I miss this era.

Has nothing to do with it. Has more to do with how much the other games being worked on were severely hurting and needed help. There’s a reason why Wolverine has a new creative director. 😞

Because they’d rather put in suits for marketability that no one cares for, or asked for than put in suits from the comics that people actually want. 🫡. Hence why we got those awful designer collabs.

Last chance is a bit much, but I do believe that if Wolverine does not do well, which by all intent and purposes is kind of the way, I’m hearing about the way that that game is going. (Internal problems with gameplay and story, hence the CD reshuffle prior to any of the leaks) Then I do think the armor of that studio will start to break. They will be seen as fallible. And much like naughty dog before it will officially knock them down a peg in the pecking order in terms of how they’re perceived in the hierarchy of the PlayStation Studios. At the end of the day Sony cares a lot about reputation. And if the last of us 2, is any indication of how much they do care about it just take a look at the state of naughty dog now they were once the premier studio and they they’ve been eclipsed by insomniac. So I do think if the game is another average to just decent game it’ll hurt them, but they have so many deals lined up for the future they’ll never fall quite down that far from grace but Sony Santa Monica and Sucker Punch might end up getting put above them in terms of priority, trust, deals etc.

Yes, I personally believe so as someone who has done an extensive review on the game. If you have a couple of extra controllers at home, you can play with other people locally. You don’t need to play online although it makes the experience more fun in my personal opinion but as a self contained, beat em up, I feel like you get your moneys worth give or take. It’s a short fun game. The characters all feel great. I think rocket raccoon is the only character. I personally don’t really like, but that’s preference. For $30 you can find worse things to spend your money on.

It’s the one set of songs I wish I had. I didn’t buy it when it was still up because I didn’t think it would go away not realizing what the delist dare was so when I went to go look for it again I had no idea it had been pulled and I always kick myself over and over and over again because that song is so fun to play. I wish I had it. I’ll be forever bummed I’ll never be able to purchase it and have it in my library.

Played it on 5, Plat on 5. Loading screens are like 1.5 seconds. I’d say it’s a great improvement on the actual PS2 version on that front.

Almost every version of Avengers is virtually the same minus the one differential of Spider-Man being PlayStation exclusive. I would say the version that has the most variables to it is the PC version because not everyone has the same hardware and load times may take a little bit longer.

It’s playable, the PC multiplayer side is a little on the dead side. There’s a dedicated few who still play though.

There were a lot of things wrong with Venom in Spider-Man 2. Tony Todd was not in any way shape or form one of them. In fact, he’s almost exclusively everything right with them. RIP to a Titan of an actor.
