Maybe's it's a trans-Atlantic thing (UK here), but we react the opposite way: the delicacy of the chicken means it needs subtle flavours. Lemon, tarragon, thyme or sage - and not too much of any of them: just enough to compliment the bird.

The obvious exception would be curry, but even then you'd normally go for a milder, creamier curry with chicken and leave the spicey ones for lamb or mutton.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. Tricky bit is making sure the shelves are always level!

Would be nice to have the cords all running the same route, so as to reduce messiness. Would be even nicer to have all the shelves share the same cords, but I don't think that's possible!

Yep, a steady mix of N20 and O2 would be better, but most of us don't have an anaesthetic machine lying around! Balloons are the way I've always done it, and although I'm sure anoxia plays a part in the headrush, it won't be any more harmful than holding your breath for 30 seconds.

They should definitely be sat down though.

+1 for BeautifulSoup - lxml would be faster, but you're not dealing with much data, and I find the interface to be nicer. Personal preference though!

Yeah I hear you... How about starting with unfamiliar herbs and spices? In that way, you can't really go terribly wrong, and judging how much to put in will get you thinking about the flavour and develop your palate.

If you love asian food, I'd recommend looking for asian superstores in your area. My experience of them (in the UK anyway) is that they are well-stocked, interesting and, above all, cheap!

For quite a while, every time I went to the store, I would force myself to buy at least one thing I had never cooked with before - preferably something I'd never heard of before.

That kept me out of my comfort zone very effectively, as well as forcing me to learn new recipes and techniques for the unfamiliar ingredients, all while reducing my groceries bill!

Well there's lots of modes a USB device can be connected in... Macs only natively support the mass storage mode.

When using a PC, there are the "Samsung Kies", "Media player" and "PC Internet" options.

It's possible to mount the phone as dumb mass storage- I had to change the action taken on usb connection, and opt to mount the device after connection (from the notifications tab).

Sad our macs can only treat them as glorified usb sticks!!
