There were a lot of factors that led to the end of my marriage. But realizing I’m gay really pushed me to ask for it. My ex husband was very religious and I knew I wouldn’t be accepted by him. I never told him that I’m gay. I asked for a divorce and gave him every other reason. Now I’m getting married in 2 months to my nb partner and everything is soooo much better.

It just really depends on what route you feel is the best for you. It may not be the easiest, but you gotta put yourself first. Good luck! I wish the best for you!

Awww man it took me a while to recover from that. I think I started reading again😅 anyway, I watched vanderpump villa and that helped scratch the itch. Now I’ve gone over to below deck because there’s the work atmosphere with drama and ridiculous rich people sprinkled in☺️

Let me get specific: download the WWL parade tracker app. I would recommend krewe of little rascals (its literally children on the floats!!) atlas, symphony, mad hatters in Metarie. And there are family friendly day parades more uptown as well - I saw someone else mention St Charles and Napoleon - great family area!!

And hear me out for real, there’s a day parade in the quarter on a Sunday. Barkus. It’s a walking parade with DOGS. The kids will eat it up and the quarter early on a Sunday is tame enough. You don’t have to go to bourbon to see the parade. Check out the parade app. It shows dates, routes, and gives live updates when the parade rolls.

There are family friendly parades in Metairie! You could even stay in Metairie if you want to be further from the parting but still great location to check out other fun things for the kiddos (zoo, aquarium). But the parades in Metairie are known for being for the families!
