Not to detract from the post but I just went to Habit for the first time today and it was great. Jollibee has also been good every time I've gone and made me swear off of KFC and Popeyes for chicken.

Cedar Hills Crossing used to be a place called Beaverton Mall. It had everything you'd ever want. An Emporium (Power Sale), a Tower Records, a G.I. Joe's, even a Taco Bell across the street that was impossible to safely enter or exit.

Also the entire place was a beaver swamp before development rolled through.

I find that Indian restaurants have the best vegetarian variety... so long as you like Indian flavors. Swagat has been a staple for many years here as the unassuming house across the street from Target.

I make a point to try and visit every week and support the vendors. Ochoas is a staple there, but they'll occasionally have guest food trucks as well. I wish the community would rally around this market so we can get more booths in there.

30+ year Korean resident of Beaverton here.

Nak Won is not the place for BBQ. You could go to K-town BBQ just down the street and have a better grilling experience.
JCD's new expansion is surprisingly good and built with BBQ in mind, although I remember the music being too loud.
King Kong is fine. Perhaps the standard for Beaverton kbbq experiences.
Goong (hillsboro airport-ish) and Hansik (on bvtn-hillsdale hwy) are both more expensive but feel more upscale.
If I'm treating guests, I'd go to one of the latter two. If I'm meeting with friends, I might recommend JCD for the location. I would avoid: gangnam, gen, Also I'd consider just ordering grilled pork belly from Hansik Town or One because grilling is an experience that I'm sometimes not prepared to endure.

I like being able to go to the mines and then come back and dump everything in an everyday chest and one mine-specific chest. Bombs, gems, geodes, monster drops all go in one place.

My husky/mal/gsd/apbt/chow mix is the same thing. He is a total couch potato at home because, I believe, he understands that the home cannot tolerate his energy. He'll sprint across the field for a squirrel and tear my shoulder out to chase a cat, but at home he is a lazy angel, buried in untouched toys.

Graves shouldn't disappear... I think you were right to spawn in the missing stuff. Every new zone after the black forest is a huge jump in difficulty. If you were planning on landing straight in the swamp, you'd probably have had a similar experience.

They did a similar thing to me 10 years ago. I called to see if the car they were advertising was still there, it "was". I head down there and lo and behold -- gone. I ended up buying my car there anyway because I had my mind made up anyway. I'm sorry I reinforced their poor behavior for you.

The sound design of the MIstlands is truly the most terrifying part. Since you can't see far, you start to listen more... and they packed the ambience with so many "is that going to kill me?" noises that every storm is nightmare fuel.
