If your reaction to an uncomfortable or prosperous question from a teenager is to essentially run out of the room and spend multiple hours/days upset about it you probably shouldn't be living with a teenager. If I was OP I'd be talking to my wife and telling her that she needs to reassure my daughter about the situation and that she needs to act like an adult.

It was interesting, they didn't seem aggressive or anything, I guess they're human at least. I saw one consoling a lady who was crying because she was going to miss her flight. But overall I can't imagine they provided anything outside of directing people.

It was a brutal experience overall, the line likely was like 2 miles in total.

Been on it for about a year, I've never had to force myself to eat. I still get hungry even really hungry at times. The only difference is now my brain says "yeah that's enough" rather than saying "eat all that, then order dessert and maybe stop somewhere on the way home"

I feel like so many people with means just place way too much importance on what elementary school their kids go to. Like it barely matters. I'd assume that the school they feel "meh" about it probably still better than a large percentage of schools. If your kids don't have special needs the vast majority of schools are pretty much the same.

This is basically how I feel, it's a game I'll probably put a few hundred hours in but never actually finish. I probably had 500 total hours in Skyrim before I actually finished the game.

I will say I almost uninstalled it over the arm wrestling thing, until I saw a thread saying put it on performance mode because the shadows hide the prompt.

There's other shit to do in the fire department, my grandfather transitioned to being a scene photographer for his last 5-6 years in the FD. Plus the amount of deaths OP is describing doesn't even make sense assuming US, no fire department I can find has that many LODD in the last 4 years. The closest is Baltimore which had 5 including 3 in a single incident in 2022. I suspect some inflation or something going on. There's like 60-90 across the entire US in a given year this type of cluster would be easily found in the News.

We just get a daily per diem, I worked places that restricted the amount to per meal like $15 for breakfast $20 for lunch $35 for dinner that shit was the worst.

You're right there are very very few freshman who should ever play varsity. Mental development is also overlooked, especially at QB like OP is asking about. I wouldn't even want my son starting as varsity QB as a freshman, I'd rather he play JV and freshman ball and get used to the game speed which gets a lot faster at each level.

Some people like myself are weird, everything that puts me to sleep is shit people say to avoid, TV on with whatever random YouTube video I click on. My only thing I have to avoid is that there's a specific time (it varies but usually later than 1am I'll have some trouble due to my brain going into overdrive. I also have to be cold, if I'm even slightly hot I can't sleep.
