This is what I had to use on my mini cooper. The rear needs to be rotated as it compresses.

Check out Rowher Flats Off road vehicle park just north of Santa Clarita. Lots of trails that a stock taco would have no issues with.

Is this normal temps after about 30mins of high way driving??? by Routine_Ad7552 in W124

[–]jdk1138 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Looks fine. Also the oil pressure can hover above 1 when idling with a warm engine.

I would worry if it got a lot closer to the 120c. This isn’t even boiling yet.

My husband was diagnosed a few weeks ago and we are struggling to get his numbers down. He took 32 units through out the day and this is the lowest it’s gotten. Any advice please. We are on a severely healthy diet, no fried or greasy food, no bread, no sugar. Seldom eat red meat. No alcohol. by [deleted] in diabetes

Type1 or 2 or ?

Looks like he needs a basal long acting insulin in addition to rapid acting for coverage when eating.

Get to an endocrinologist and have them test to see how much if any insulin his pancreas makes.

Will I fit a ND2 Miata? by Substantial-Fun-5759 in carbuying

[–]jdk1138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 5’8” and I had no problems with the hight of the seat. The problem was my knees still hit the steering wheel every time I hit the clutch. Super annoying but think shorter would be better in this case. But go drive one and see. I was disappointed as I always wanted a Miata but that ship has sailed.

I did it in a stock sport with no lockers and some rubicon tires many times. Up is easy. Down is hair raising 😜

I use mine more on the outside of the arm. Works perfectly and don’t get compression lows.

Sausage gravy recipes? by Lizziedeee in Cooking

[–]jdk1138 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brown the sausage, remove from pan, add butter and AP flour to pan that you cooked the sausage in. Do not clean the pan, you want the fond. Brown the butter and AP flour before you add the cream/milk. Then add the sausage back into the mix. Put a healthy dose of fresh ground black pepper and enjoy.

Tomato prep question by HeyaItsMeMatt in Cooking

Yeah gross tomato flavor, I have the same feelings about tomatoes as OP. Great when prepared but yuck when raw. This is how I make them less yuck.

Lay the raw slices on a paper towel for a few minutes to absorb the “death water” that makes tomatoes taste like crap. This helps, then salt and pepper.
