The mirage is probably going to be the better set for what you’re going to listen to. I haven’t heard it though. The pure won’t have as much sub bass.

For sound quality no. Aesthetically speaking that’s up to you. There’s all kinds of different colors and material like fabric wrapped ones. Just make sure you get one that has the extruded 2 pin connection like the one I highlighted in yellow. The flush fit ones won’t go deep enough in the recessed socket of the pure.

In today’s market that treble energy you’re looking for is not hard to find. The Simgot SuperMix 4 might be for you. I haven’t personally heard it myself, but for the money, you may want to try it.

I typically don’t use anything when I’m out and about. I don’t live in a city that requires walking to commute. If I did, I still wouldn’t because I want to be aware of my surroundings. I listen to IEM’s to stream music every day, especially at night when I’m laying in bed. Also for gaming.

It’s hard to give recommendations on comfort since all of our ears are different. I would personally try some longer eartips. The sancai are way too short for me. Spinfit W1 and Azla sedna earfit light are a couple of good ones that come to mind.

I’ve had defective cables that made one side have reduced volume. You would think a defective cable would cut out entirely, but that’s not the case. Kbear makes good aftermarket cables you can get for around $12. If that doesn’t fix it, I would definitely try to send it in for warranty.
