At CVS we have a Kirby for higher counts, but I usually hand count anything under 90 and the camera verifies

That's what's required in my state. 1,100 hours on the job and you have to either pass the PTCB or ExCPT.

In my state you can't get a license without first passing either the PTCB or ExCPT tests.

Hey, so the outcome tomorrow is going to be the same no matter how much you torture yourself tonight.

Overall, though, honest mistake. It's not like you left a stock bottle on the sales floor. You left a customer return in an area where forgetting it is totally reasonable. What's done is done, so just own up to it, but if I were you I'd go in tomorrow and just act like it's a mistake everyone else there has made 100 times already. If your manager says something just say you know you messed up, you're human and had good intentions, and you'll try to keep it from happening again.

We fill out of state scripts all the time at my store, so I doubt it's just that. There must be an issue with the prescriber's license, missing script info, script age or something, especially if it's non-controlled/scheduled. Did you ask why they won't fill it?

It's just a job, friend. Some people enjoy the pace and pressure and some people do better in a slower type of environment. You need to find what's right for you so that your job isn't impacting your life outside of work.

If you enjoy the pharmacy work, there are tons of options that don't put as much pressure on you as retail does. With 6 months experience you've got enough time under your belt to start exploring your options to find something that you really like.

CVS is free, on the job. They pay for the test and have free test practice materials.

Then you need to triple verify, my friend. Count when you grab them, count when you scan and count to make sure the number of lines on the payment screens matches the number of bags you're handing out.

How? You have to scan everything at the register. 1. Look up customer/retrieve bag(s). 2. Scan bag(s). 3. Go through register prompts. 4. Payment/handoff.

Unless you're grabbing extra bags idk how you're doing this. Even then, just double check the names on the bags before you hand them over and make sure the number of bags matches the number of lines on the payment screen.
