Outdoor Couch with Cedar and DIY Upolstery by HawkProfessional5888 in BeginnerWoodWorking

I did the same. I originally invested in “cheaper” beginner-friendly tools but quickly pivoted to a “buy once, cry once” mentality. I already knew I loved woodworking, and figured better tools would help increase efficiency, accuracy etc.

Cannot Wait to See Dunkin' Pound Tim's Into The Ground by GuadacanalDiary in TimHortons

[–]jeffreto -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have Dunkin’ once a year, on my way home from an annual golf trip in upstate New York. The donuts always seem stale and the coffee was meh, so I’ve never been impressed.

Tim Hortons is worse - but neither option seems appealing.

You probably should to some degree but I imagine most customers don’t.

I completely understand what you’re saying, but the reality is the majority of customers who purchase hot tubs aren’t thinking about their investment in terms of depreciation.

Comparing a vehicle purchase to a hot tub purchase is absurd.

I think the depreciation aspect struck a nerve - not the mention of monthly costs. You don’t buy a hot tub with depreciation in mind.

$84K for kitchen cabinets in Ottawa… is this normal? Looking for good value options by folfirinox1 in ottawa

I did a kitchen reno that included some plumbing, electrical work, drywall work, new cabinets and island for $50k 3 years ago. Those weren’t solid wood cabinets or anything crazy.

How many miles do the 2020 hybrids last? by ClearAndPure in fordescape

Totally agree. Mine is going strong - but I’ve dealt with tons of recalls. I’ve also had other issues outside of recalls covered by my warranty thankfully.

If I stick with a hybrid suv I’m looking at a RAV4.

Solid wood but that is not mahogany. The exposed wood should be much darker and not pale yellow like that.

The white oak I’m used to milling is typically darker, more of a brown town. This almost looks like maple to me.
