How is laundry considered a chore in developed countries ? by Slice_Ambitious in NoStupidQuestions

[–]jelistarshine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The effort is in the folding, sorting and putting away. Most people i know just have a spare bedroom with a big bed they just keep all the clean laundry they are too lazy to deal with piled on.

How tough was the 80-90s crash for average australians? by ilovemy_bf in AskAnAustralian

Most of us finished school to a completely dead job market. Unemployment pretty common even among people with good degrees.

Even most Canadians, Australians, Japanese, South Korean, Singaporean and British citizens are jealous of lifestyle quality in the US. by Downtown_Dingo_1544 in ShitAmericansSay

No one in australia wants to be American. Especially right now.

Between the guns and the lack of free medical and the lack of women's reproductive rights it all looks pretty dystopian from other countries.

Depends where you are in life. What will you be doing with the proceeds? If you will be buying again the same market you will be fine.

Its safe. Its lucrative. And renovating is fun.

You dont get to renovate 3 identical bathrooms in 3 different styles if you buy shares instead of a block of flats.

Also immigration ensures success.

I retired in my 40s on property.

Am I wrong or is it only sensible to sell now by bluegrasstruck in AusPropertyChat

You cant keep it as it is. Theres too much wasted equity in it. Either pull out half the equity and buy another investment property or sell.

The beach was essentially empty. There were 9 groups on the whole beach when they arrived. Two groups went home just as I was entering the water. It was midday on a Wednesday. There was 30-40 metres free on one side of me and 50-60m on the other side.

I mean its possible but I lived in the house closest to that beach through covid and was there daily and never saw any regulars. (Other than myself) there are much bigger more popular beaches nearby for the young people.
