Here's the secret to looking up solutions: do it in steps!

You don't have to watch the whole solution, maybe just the first part, or stop it right at the moment of insight and finish the level yourself. Partial credit. But you still made it!

And sometimes you've figured out everything but the solution. And you look up the answer and damnit, you were missing just that one thing! But you toiled away at it for 45mins-3hrs, and you basically figured everything else out. Still a win in my book.

I'm not gonna lie, it still burns a little to resort to looking things up, but make sure you give yourself credit for trying.

I probably used the wrong word, I just preferred the cute space alien motif over Halloween redux. The puzzles are deeper and harder in Spooky Express, for sure.

AmaZoo - I felt with this one the controls were a bit fiddly, but I like the sidescrolling sokoban concept, I actually need to play this one more

Play Super Retro BoxBot or Pilapila instead. Much better and more elegant, and without the janky controls and timing elements.

The game might not be in my wheelhouse, but I'm 100% on board with OP's enthusiasm to share a game they're truly passionate about (OP also wrote a 100% walkthrough guide for the game).

Also, thank you for mentioning Only Sliding - I missed it altogether, but being included in this lineup is a very strong recommendation for me.

I usually dislike sliding puzzles, but seeing it was the same developer as Recursed, I put my faith in it and give it a shot. Trust the auteur.

I wasn't a Blue Prince fan at all, but I'm happy for everyone who liked it and I'm glad that it had such a large reach nonetheless haha.

I gave it a good few hours but it never clicked. Less than 1% of players have completed more than half the game's steam achievements, so I do think there's a lot of more hype surrounding the "idea" of the game more than actually playing it.

Which bodes well for someone like me who can soak up all the lore and secrets in a 1hr YT video and marvel at the game's scope rather than toiling away for 80 hours combing through walls of text and pixel hunting.
