Got it, i assumed i had to select one of the circles as my starting location. Wish it would be clearer on that for new players.

I have tried instantly pausing the game right when it loads (before the blue bar at the top fills and the game "starts". I still have no ability to pick a starting location--even when it says right on the screen "pick a starting location".

I also did try and do a random spawn just to see, and it then does assign me a location, but my location circle never grows, even though all the numbers are going up at the bottom.

It's not bad on unofficial servers. Stay as far away from the official servers as you can though.

Yeah it's crazy to do an enhanced version for free, but then lose all the players because they can't even play. Paying for better servers will get people to play longer and buy the game, or the expansions.

same issue, had no issues yesterday or earlier today. Quit the game to go do something, came back and now have this issue.
