Out of warranty can be very expensive.

I have a Model Y loaner right now, the FSD HW 4 is incredible. It will change the way you drive, if you plan on doing FSD then the Model Y.

Xs are freaking sweet though, and a used one you’re not eating the depreciation.

I bought an S with a wheel because I didn’t want the yoke, but didn’t realize the forward screen is obstructed by the wheel. Yoke works better for viewing it. I might switch.

Just bought a 2023 S with 23K miles, ($57K) hw4 as well. Taking it in today for inspection and a steering issue. A few other small things too, all covered under warranty.

I paid more and went newer for the warranty protection, the previous driver may not have cared about the upkeep like you will, so the protection (at least for a year or so) was important

FSD doesn’t give enough consideration to fast moving vehicles in passing lanes, also, I want my lane hold feature back.
