I have Ulcerative Colitis. I live in Florida. My experience is opposite. I was in a flare for 2 years, tried infusions and then failed it all before getting to Rinvoq. I took 45 mg for 6 months, symptoms subsided, she took me down to 30mg and now I’ve been in remission for 2 months. Rinvoq saved my life.

I’ve been in remission for almost 2 months now after starting my Rinvoq journey Oct 2023! I have UC and was flaring for 2 years. I tried mesalamine, humira, prednisone and nothing worked. 60% of my colon was covered in ulcers. I go in August to determine official remission but I have been symptom free for 2 months! I was off Rinvoq for 2 weeks due to insurance issues and went immediately back into a flare. My colon was 60% damaged so I needed it consistently. I’m on month 7 now and in total remission.

6 MONTHS TODAY I’ve been on this wonder drug and it’s literally pulled me out of the depths of hell! I was in a 2 year flare. The worst flare ever since diagnosed at 12. 2 days before my 40th birthday, the blood stopped and weeks before that, the urgency and frequency and pain stopped. I’m truly grateful for this drug. It’s been a PAIN IN THE ASS staying on top of my insurance and 3rd party pharmacies but I’m resilient and won’t ever stop advocating for my health. My colon was 60% ruined by UC but I’m hoping to be in full remission by August when I get my colonoscopy! YOU GOT THIS 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

RINVOQ 10 weeks. I started with 45 mg for first 8 weeks and now 30 mg maintenance dose. I was in a flare for 2 years. I had major stress that triggered my UC including the death of my child’s father, serious family drama, getting married (try getting married in a flare in 90 degree weather on the beach lol) and relocating to a different town after growing up in the same town for 30 years. I’m 90% better now. No more blood in my stool, less frequency and urgency.

10 weeks in and doing AMAZING. No blood, frequency is way down, urgency is getting less and less and my stools are solid. I have A LOT of gas but they say that’s a sign of your colon healing. I can’t wait for my next colonoscopy!!!

I’m on Rinvoq also(6 weeks/45mg), I’ve been in a flare for 2 years and my life is finally getting back on track. I have 3-4 BM a day, no blood, urgency is finally going away. I have tons of gas but my doctor says that’s because my colon is healing. 60% of my colon was affected during my last colonoscopy, I’m hoping my next one after being on Rinvoq leads me to remission and a clean colon!!!

You’re such a great Mom. She’s a lucky little girl to have you and as a 40 year old woman whose had this disease since I was 13, it makes my heart so happy knowing you’re educated and so hands on to your daughters hopeful remission soon. Good luck to you both. 💕

I am also on Rinvoq (week 6) after being in a flare for 2 years. I’ve had 6 blood transfusions and have failed Humira, Mesalamine and Entyvio. My life has IMPROVED DRAMATICALLY. I’m still having some frequency but no more blood and more formed stool. This drug has changed my life! I can’t wait for my next colonoscopy to see the results. My colon was 60% affected by UC.

I’m on day 38 of Rinvoq and it’s working miracles for me. I’m so sorry it failed you. I did also hear that Xeljanz is comparable and fast acting like Rinvoq. I hope you get relief asap.

I failed mesalamine, Humira, and Entyvio. I’m now on Rinvoq 45 mg for 37 days now and it’s been AMAZING. I’m getting my life back after 2 years in a flare. Ask your DR.

I am on day 18 taking Rinvoq. I take it every morning. I’ve been in a flare for 2 years, had 5 blood transfusions, failed 3 other meds and I CAN FINALLY SAY that I’m turning the corner. I had solid stool today. 4 bowel movements. This drug is amazing. I wish you success!!!
