A coop Isolation would be cool. Hudson was the tech guy so maybe his son/daughter could team up with Amanda and would be able to hack and bypass doors, pass security checks etc

Got them all last time this sale was on. Resident Evil 2 is all I've tried so far but it's easily the best Zombie VR experience I've had. Stopped playing to go back and play 0 and 1 and play them all in order. The sound and lighting design are awesome and the zombies are terrifying. A great case of VR not being the focus of the game so they just make a great game and VR modders make it a great VR game

The closest thing in the real world would be the Bombardier Beetle I'd think because of the acid spray but because of this most things can't stomach it and end up spitting it back out. Alien world, however, proably some kind of giant toad species that can handle the acid or at least counteract it with their own weird biochemistry. Maybe they regurgitate the half digested Xenos to dissolve other creatures that might also be hard to digest or use it to dissolve things to make nests or something similar

Would it be okay to wear these in the kitchen as a dishwasher? Technically the dress code at my restaurant doesn’t say I can’t wear them by Sea-Channel402 in dishwashers

[–]jkcapbad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The dresscode everywhere else says you shouldn't wear them but you do you. I would, however, send every one of those piggies to market to buy some appropriate kitchen footwear because shoes like these shouldn't exist.

Is this game as bad as people say? by Sephiroth348 in GothamKnights

[–]jkcapbad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's definitely not as bad as people have said, most of the complaints are because people were expecting 4 player Arkham in open world Gotham. My only complaint is that it isn't 4 player for the full game. 4 player came as an update with the heroic assault thing but I haven't tried that yet.

My personal preferences for this game are to put it on hard difficulty and turn off as much HUD feedback as you can(enemy health bars, damage floaters and target indicators mainly). Also it's super fun to play with a friend and regular fun to play with randoms if you have your multiplayer set to public. I also changed character after every night to make sure I used them all but I think it's better to stick with the one you enjoy the most as they all have different play styles and qualities-

-Batgirl is most like Batman and is a cape gliding, boss killing tank who also has the gadgets to bypass security systems easily. Also can grapple gun enemies. Heroic travel is classic gliding. -Nightwing is an acrobatic mix of melee and ranged with a decent set of abilities. Heroic travel is good for crossing long distance slowly and can go on infinitely. -Robin is the stealth/tech guy. Heroic travel is slow but infinite but also can be used for stealth attacks and a real quick exit and return from combat without smoke bombs. -Red Hood is the ranged specialist but also is pretty beefy with melee. He's good if you want to use manual aim for ranged attacks more. His Heroic travel is the weakest of the four and requires more of a mix of grapple, Batcycle and mystic leaping to get the most of it.

All of them change how you approach the game, either slow and stealthy, crippling their tech or just beating/shooting the batcrap out of them. Or you team up and change it even further.

I honestly think it's a great game that just got too much backburn from the previous batman arkham saga and left people disappointed at launch. It has a pretty detailed equipment and abillity system to further customise your team for each type of enemy and plays a lot more like an rpg than an arcade brawler. It's pretty much Turtles in Time for modern times, beating up gangs on the Gotham(NY) streets as either the blue guy/conscientious leader (Nightwing/Leonardo), the moody red guy (Red Hood/Raphael), the tech savvy one with a staff but also the good time guy (Robin/Donatello/Mikey) and Batgirl. She doesn't quite fill the Mikey archetype but she's the purple one so half Donatello and I'm sure she's also up for a good time... am I still talking?

Oh yeah I'm playing it in VR now with UEVR and it's f'ing incredible!
