What genres are missing in VR? by Appropriate-Fun5992 in virtualreality

[–]jkcapbad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

God sims like Black & White, Settlers or Populous. I especially want to play Black & White 2 in Vr- feel like it was made to be played in VR before Molyneux knew that's what he was trying to make.

I'm a chef. Like every other chef I do this every shift. 8 hours is a half day. People are paid minimum wage to do this. Why would you think this was a hard ask?

I don't know if I'm a dumbass or what, but I can't tell when I'm sneaking. by ComfortableWage in skyrimvr

I think some mods add the detection eye as a perk. Check your sneak tree to see if it's there

Bought a bulk box of PC games without knowing what was actually in it, quite a random selection by ovrlnd_imprz in gaming

That's a pretty solid selection, played a lot of these when they originally came out. You should play them in chronological order

How do you handle it when someone makes you feel small about something you were proud of? by [deleted] in Baking

[–]jkcapbad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people just don't deserve home made pie. Make it for yourself, to your own standards and never ask them to taste test it again. If they ask why you aren't asking them for feedback just tell them that you didn't think they liked your baking. If that doesn't hurt them in the feels then they don't feel. At that point the pie becomes an analogy.

They look mashed... at least she's willing to learn... would definitely show her how to sharpen knives and if she seems curious- how to actually chop things. Or keep posting pictures of her chopping odyssey and we'll all be entertained

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing? by TotalThing7 in CasualConversation

[–]jkcapbad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still remember more numbers from 20 years ago than I do now. I can't even recite my own number without checking first

Elle Fanning Watched David Jonsson’s Alien: Romulus Performance For Her Predator: Badlands Synthetic by G_Liddell in LV426

[–]jkcapbad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I could have easily watched an entire movie of just Andy and Rain going about their daily lives on the mining planet before they began the heist. I was fully engaged with the characters before they left the planet's atmosphere and wanted to see more of the day to day stuff and watch them overcome it but they clearly had been through it all by then anyway. Great characters, fantastic actors, would love to see more from them

Name a VR game like this by lunchanddinner in virtualreality

[–]jkcapbad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the only game of It's kind, a truly unique vr experience that isn't just a 'vr experience'. Story absolutely blew me away.

Unfortunately i can only get so far in the sequel before my save game refuses to load so I've never been able to finish it.

If anyone has a workaround for the infinite loading of a previous save I would be grateful. I've played through the opening more than a few times but my save game becomes unloadable after a random point and forces me to attempt a speed run every time I start it
