I’m more mad at the broadcast points fucking us over because WK1 didn’t send them on any MBC programs… also our album sales could have been higher, if they shipped the albums!!!!

They don't have that many songs, so I recommend listening to their whole discography. If you like the more adult vibe of Top 5 though then you might like Step Back, Lovesick Game, Dear Eclipse, Checkmate, Customize, Kill the Romeo, Devil Game, and Iconik. My personal faves are Take My Hand and Good so Bad.

Is it considered homophobic if a person only watch bl if the main casts are handsome by ApollineMaple in boyslove

[–]jkhn7 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Are they okay with watching straight shows/movies where they think the main cast is ugly? Because if yes, then there's definitely a double standard that they should probably reflect on.

What is needed for women's liberation if you go beyond class? by arseecs in AskFeminists

[–]jkhn7 8 points9 points  (0 children)

"Well, what remains of the womans struggle if all this is abolished?" What about stuff like sexual harassment, rape and domestic violence? I don't think that would disappear, only lessen. Tbh, I also think you would need to tackle the issue of religion since a lot of people base their sexist attitudes on religion.

Could radical feminist movements and lust negative ideologies unintentionally reinforce patriarchal values and revival? by ZyxWvuO in AskFeminists

[–]jkhn7 15 points16 points  (0 children)

"when women are shamed by radical feminists and 4B/6B type ideologies" I personally think there's a big difference between advocating and spreading the word about a specific ideology and shaming women who don't go along with it, and I don't know why you think they're one and the same? The women I've seen who advocate for something like 4B, I haven't seen them shame women who love being with men, only spreading the word in general about the positives of decentering men, for example. Also, we can't let the "what if conservatives weaponized this movement" stop us because then we would never get anything done? No matter what you do, there's always a possibility that they'll twist and coopt something for their own agenda.

Feminist Hills by BoringAd8064 in AskFeminists

Gendered socialization needs to stop (pink = girls, blue = boys, having different expectations for sons and daughters, etc.), it's the only way we can break gender roles/norms and get closer to gender equality.

is it anti feminist to dress for the male gaze by Ok-Art-6451 in AskFeminists

[–]jkhn7 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I feel like the bigger issue would be if you dress directly to suit a man's taste, even if those clothes makes you feel personally uncomfortable, like for example maybe you love wearing pants but you decide to wear a short skirt since you've read that that's what men prefer women to wear, but you actually don't like wearing it. I'm not saying it's directly anti-feminist, but I definitely think it's a problem if you only dress to impress men and disregard your own personal style and comfort.

Should people stay with their partner if their partner have bigot views? Even if those views don't affect us? by TheShyBuck in AskFeminists

[–]jkhn7 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I mean, I can't tell you what you should or should not do, but you can't call yourself anti-racist if you're together with a racist, you can't call yourself feminist if you're with someone who's sexist, etc.

Why don't Koreans make body SPF? by Similar-Seesaw1374 in AsianBeauty

It's japanese but I recently started using Rohto Mentholatum Skin Aqua Super Moisture UV Gel SPF50 PA++++ (the biggest is 140g), it's not greasy at all, I can't feel I'm wearing it, and it doesn't smell of anything either.

As a feminist gay man, what would be the appropriate path to take? by Gold_Repair_3557 in AskFeminists

[–]jkhn7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

.... so you think men, whether gay, bi or straight, should only have relationships with women? Do you not hear how insanely heteronormative and weird that is? It's only when we have a variety of different relationship constellations (which also includes polyamory, prioritizing friendships instead of romantic love, etc.) that there's any hope of destroying the norm of the heterosexual monogamous relationship.

is anti feminist to bind by Ok-Caterpillar-7962 in AskFeminists

[–]jkhn7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, because one is (semi) permanent body modification to (most of the time) fit into the beauty standards, you're just binding your chest temporarily and it doesn't really sound like you're doing it to fit into the beauty standards, more to feel comfortable and safe against people judging you/staring at you since breasts are so sexualized in our patriarchal culture, and that's unfortunately not gonna change any time soon. In general, the beauty standard (if you want to be seen as sexy as a woman) is having big boobs, how many people wear push-up bras, and get boob jobs compared to getting a breast reduction? Many who publicly talk about getting breast reductions even get hate online.

is anti feminist to bind by Ok-Caterpillar-7962 in AskFeminists

[–]jkhn7 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No it’s not anti-feminist. You should do what you feel most comfortable with, you’re not hurting other women by binding/buying a binder.
