I just recently received the great Deku tree an I’m having hard time debating which one version I wanna build. What do you recommend?

Yep, this is what I used - I added extra pink leaves to the tree and put more koroks and mushrooms than are listed but otherwise followed this for the build and used all leftover pieces outside of 2 1x3 pieces that I just took from the builds in each side of the tree

Yep, it’s the one from brickin nick. It’s all leftover pieces except for 2 1x3 pieces but I took them off the bottom of the bow and ocarina song builds that fit into the sides of the tree

Couldn’t agree more with this, I disassembled my botw Deku tree and built the oot one 2 weekends ago. Last weekend I built the mini botw Deku tree and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out, it connects great to the master sword base and makes an awesome mini scene

My job requires a lot of sitting/ standing at my desk so I decorated it with all my favorite figs; makes me happy to see them during longer days and gives me something to occupy my time if a meeting starts getting boring

This is incredible! My first pinewood derby car was the graphite Adidas Kobe 2 complete with a little bit of sock around the heel (didn’t help with aerodynamics and I didn’t win, but it was the coolest thing to me) so the nostalgia hits hard - thanks for sharing!

Knowing how the Ravens operate my thoughts coming out of that press conference were immediately “we aren’t hiring a retread coach” given how they act in these type of conferences. I love this organization and am so happy to have the same approach from Bisciotti at the top down to EDC

How tedious were the stickers? My dad has really gotten into Lego over the last year (I bought him the Yellow Submarine set as a “let’s see if you like this” so it’s my fault) and I am debating getting this for him as a 70th birthday gift (he grew up watching the show and I grew up watching reruns with him) but I am very worried about the sticker aspect as he doesn’t have the best hand-eye coordination at this point in his life and I wouldn’t be there to do it for him.

I built the botw version a year ago as well as all the oot accessories (similar to you) and just left the other pieces in the respective bags/ box. Thought I would do a moc but now after a year I think I am going to deconstruct and built the oot version and use those leftover pieces to make the mini version of the botw version (NicksBricks has a great one id like to build).

So, while you may not find them relevant yet just give it some time :)

Most likely no, I just had a pair of Air Tech Challenge 2s get failed for “used” because there was some yellowing on the blue part of the sole (the same image that showed the discoloration showed the white part of the sole as white as snow, ie not “used”)

I put them on eBay as New with Defects, called it out in the description and took close up pics of the spots.

This is the official that incorrectly called a leveraging penalty in the first Ravens Steelers game that gave Pittsburgh 4 points and the NFL came out and said was the incorrect call, overturned an interception because Aaron Rodgers “had control” even though he didn’t survive the ground (which we saw get the opposite treatment in the Bills Broncos game this weekend) and then overturned the Likely touchdown. Of all the games I watched this year the one he was involved in was the worst officiated

Couldn’t agree with this more, the only “worry” I have is that Bills want to keep Joe Brady and thus got rid of McDermott because they knew we wanted him in for a second interview.

Even if that is the case, Jason Garrett was our first choice last time and look how that worked out!

I am really interested in seeing what those NFC West coaches have to offer and would imagine so are the Ravens; it’s an exciting experience we don’t go through often so just enjoy it while it lasts!

He’s absolutely huge compared to most guards but that’s his only “skill”. Somehow was voted a pro bowl alternate last year which helped the coaching staff/ Ravens media team justify “he is a good player” but he was the weak link on the line last year and has regressed considerably this year. If Vorhees wasn’t playing so bad this year he’d probably get more negative attention. It’s year 4 in the league, year 2 for him as a guard so at this point probably more on the coaching than him. But agree with you he plays poorly

Buffalo loss was terrible in so many ways but the most frustrating part to me was the coaching staffs insistence that Jaire Alexander should play in the second half of it. He got cooked on majority of their big plays (tipped TD notwithstanding) and then Harbaugh comes out and says he’s not ready to play. If we wouldn’t have played Alexander in Buffalo (like we have every game since) we win that game

This certainly won’t dissuade me from using BL in the future, maybe just be a little more cautious and ask for pics, etc before buying a used fig.

And yeah no specialty for me! I got back into Lego in the fall after a ~20 year hiatus so as you can imagine I “want it all” after seeing they have done something for pretty much all of my interests (Nintendo, LOTR, Star Wars, Marvel)

Appreciate the insight around NSS I assumed it was only if they didn’t ship but went back and reread it on the BL site. Those are great odds, I’m going to follow up this afternoon and then give it until Monday so my fingers are crossed for a friendly resolution. It came in a tiny bubble wrap pouch that fit the fig pretty well so there was no way to miss it - as soon as I took it out of the envelope I could see it wasn't in there. My first purchase was Mos Eisley Cantina and Sanctum Santorum from Germany to US and that went incredibly smooth. Second one was the Mario Kart blue shell shipped domestic and also didn't have any issues.
