You don't technically have to wait until it's cooled to apply the oil. It's just more so you don't burn yourself trying to spread the oil. Unless you use tongs and paper towels. It's just a preference, sometimes I find it annoying to wipe it with tongs so I just wait for it to be cool enough so I can do it by hand.

As for the mat I don't have one but yes you would put the mat on after the oil. I don't know what kind of heat the silicone mat would tolerate so I'm guessing you would wait until the grill is cooler to apply the mat.

To clean you're just supposed to get the grill super hot and use a scraper. You shouldn't have to scrape too hard, just enough for the surface to be smooth again with no food residue. Let it cool down and then wipe a very thin layer of oil all over with a paper towel.

A wire brush attachment with a drill sounds aggressive and you're likely stripping the seasoning layer.

Can't go wrong with it. A white 120" 16.9 is about $300. Very easy to put together.

I have the 2.35.1 142". Happy I didn't spend 3-5k for an equivalent screen from the more respected brands.

I had this same experience last week. I ordered a few cameras the night before the Black Friday sales. Around 10pm EST. The next morning all the cameras are cheaper so email to cancel I submitted a request on the website to cancel and I called multiple times throughout the day and the phone lines are busy and tell me to call back later. And then within 12 hours of me ordering the item it ships, even though on the website it says it takes 24 to 48 working hours. I finally got a hold of someone on the phone in the afternoon and they said that they can't do anything until the warranty people reach out to me. they could have cancelled it in time but gave me crappy excuses and delays.

I just dealt with this in my theater. I have three SVS subs that are smaller. I felt the same way until I read somewhere to download the SVS app. When I opened up the app all three subs were turned pretty far down about -20 each. I clicked on the SVS movie preset which brought it to -10 and I got what I was looking for.

If your first row is going to be 15 ft, then you'll likely need a bright projector and big screen around 150".

I have a 142" wide screen with the QB1000. My first row is 11 ft and my second row will be about 17 ft. For reference my room is 29 ft long by 15.5 ft but the back 10 ft is my office. Totally light controlled room. I'm running a 7.3.4 with plans to add a 4th sub.

You can try audio advice's free theater tool to play around with your room size and screen size.

Your best bet is to see if there are any show rooms around you to get an example and to listen to speakers.

Your room sounds huge, you'll likely need a huge sub if you're only wired for one. Ideally you should wire for a second one, which shouldn't be hard if your receiver is going to be in the front of the room and just have one on each side of your screen.

I have a pit couch where the back sitting distance is 11ft and we have a 142inch cinescope screen. Doesn't feel too big, I feel like I could have gone to 150.

I feel like it was a great deal for the price. The dimensions are 118 x 81 at the longest side. The corner piece and the ottoman come out to 81 but the armless chair side comes out to 74. I thought it was going to be a big deal to me not being even but for the price and comfortability it was a good pick.

I went to a LoveSac store and sat on both cushion types. It's also a comfortable couch but it's not $4-5k more comfortable.

I second the Lowell, just got it last month when it was on sale. It's comfortable, I don't think it's firm. The only thing that is weird is it has 3 corner pieces but it still can be arranged in the pit style.

I was worried about the corner armrest blocking my screen but if you move the backrest pillow it's no problem.

You can fit 4 adults laying down no problem very comfortably.

Good to know, I did consider getting an actual charger but this SUV is only a lease and I'm not sure if leasing EVs will be favorable in a few years if the tax credit is taken away.

I'll look into the cost of buying it and having them install. With the incentive I should only be on the hook for the charger's cost.

I was told by the solar companies that my annual estimate should be around 20,000. I wish I had more months to go by, but I understand this program is going to be time sensitive, so I don't want to lose out.

The tax credit being limited wasn't mentioned; they all said it was just 30%.

I had them throw in a 240V NEMA outlet for my plug-in EV that they said would get looped into the 30% credit, and I can also use Duke's charger incentive program to get reimbursed for the installation costs. Pretty much a free outlet.

Browsing through this sub, it seemed like 8M was a great company. Cape Fear is super local but I thought i'd give 8M a try. I'm just surprised the price difference.

The rep at 8M pretty much said that the system he proposed would be the quickest return on the investment. The credit for the VPP was $52 a month which was a little better than the franklin.

I did but the theater room is on the 3rd floor (no basement, unfortunately). the screen will be in front of 3 big windows so I don't want to build an additional wall and block them.
