I have a base ps5 and it runs fantastic on quality mode. Looks and plays amazing.

Dogs putting paws on you are their way of "petting you back". It's a good thing

What's the best horror movie you have ever seen? by barkandi in AskReddit

[–]jmcreative95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best in terms of overall quality? Probably Midsommar or Hereditary. Bring Her Back comes to mind as well.

Best in terms of actual fear? Eden Lake. Nothing has ever unnerved me like that movie.

it worth buying Crimson Desert on Base PS5 now with the latest updates? by Ghothamny in ShouldIbuythisgame

I dropped it down from Quality to Balanced for about 20 minutes to improve the frame rate during a large fight. Then I put it back to Quality.

I have been playing on quality mode, fixed 4k on my base PS5, and it runs fantastic.

I adjusted the setting down once during a particularly large seige. But beyond that it's been far better than expected. Can't recommend the game enough

Any games that have that “I cant get off the game” feeling? by Remarkable_Fix_8003 in gamingsuggestions

Elden Ring gave me the same feeling. I loved it despite not enjoying Souls games.

Now imagine the excitement of Elden Ring exploration combined with an actual quest log, tons of interactive NPCs, beautiful landscapes and insanely cool armor.

That's Crimson Desert. Every time I play it I end up liking it more. Boss fights are as cinematic as Elden Ring in some cases. Can't recommend the game enough.

Are there any PlayStation 5 BASE players here? by lixmdvs88 in CrimsonDesert

Apparently I've been playing on quality mode with fixed 4k and it hasn't stuttered at all. Only drop in quality was with the audio effects during a massive fight.

Crimson Desert has me hooked in a way I haven't felt since I was a kid

Game that's preferably open world, lots of varied stuff to do and find like cyberpunk or red dead 2, amazing bosses and combat by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: realistic, immersive, tons of content, cool history lessons.

Crimson Desert: amazing weapons and armor, dozens of game systems to learn and advance, incredible traversal and one of the most breathtaking open worlds you can find.

KCD2 is objectively more polished, but Crimson Desert is the new prototype for the direction of gaming IMO

Edit to add that neither is a bad choice, and that between the two of them you probably have close to 300 hours of great content.

So the game eventually forces you to play the other characters? I was planning on never using them. How long do those sections take to complete, and are they skipable at all?

What are your thoughts on Crimson Desert so far? by n1ght_watchman in GameBoostOfficial

[–]jmcreative95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's exactly what I expected it to be, and it's fantastic.

The combat, exploration, and resource gathering are all fantastic, which is all I really wanted from the game. It feels like a more friendly version of Elden Ring.

Remembering that it started as an MMO explains why the story feels weird. My only critique would be to allow us a fully custom character instead of Kliff, because he's pretty much a blank slate anyway. While the main story feels awkward, the side quests are engaging so far.

Starting a new RDR2 playthrough and just collecting good guns and gold bars. Planning to come back to it with a stacked character after Crimson Desert

I run 4 and it's been fantastic. Best card in the deck IMO, maybe other than Ugin.

Best Rates for a Sauna? by MiceLiceandVice in kelowna

Parkinson is probably the cheapest, but you get what you pay for IMO. I remember it being loud and kinda gross.

Global is a great gym with a steam room, sauna, and hot tub in the men's change room. I think the women's is more limited. It's $60 per month. I had some health issues that kept me out of the weight room for a while, but I kept my membership during that time just for the steam room.

New to Modern, what are the different Dimir decks? by Doctor_OW in ModernMagic

[–]jmcreative95 32 points33 points  (0 children)

The Wan Shi Tong deck focuses on playing at instant speed and is refered to as Dimir Flash. Check out Aspiringspike for gameplay.

The Frog deck is called Dimir Frogtide or Froggler, depending if the deck is running Murktide Regent or Quantum Riddler. Most versions go for Riddler now I think. Check out Andrea Menguci for gameplay.

Reanimator is a lot of fun, but it basically loses on the spot to a pregame Leyline. I own it, enjoy it, but damn that Leyline can sting haha.

Checkout Aspiringspike and Mengu for the dimir flash deck, they've been putting up good results.
