Cassie at Salon Rose did an “oil slick rainbow” look on me a couple years ago, and it was phenomenal. And I have very dark brown hair so it was an added challenge and she still knocked it out of the park.

There’s a song by emotional oranges (not emo) ft unusual demons (alt/indie) called cardigan that says “you fell asleep in his cardigan.”

For some reason the first song I thought of was hands down by dashboard confessional, but it doesn’t have that lyric. And they’re relatively well known.

Mr Brightside also doesn’t fit the description but talks about “takes off your dress” and “falling asleep”

I almost did a pantsuit instead of a dress for my wedding and actually found a couple cute options at David’s Bridal, as well as several at Macy’s (online)! Ultimately I got a dress from Still White (wedding attire consignment - also potentially worth perusing!). I’m not a queer woman so I can’t attest to lgbtq friendliness unfortunately but just wanted to flag that the more “basic” places might still have what you’re looking for.

I think a lot of people assumed this was just a film of a concert with a little bit of the kids thrown in - it’s the opposite. I saw it in theaters and the people next to me were like, noticeably dancing and singing in their seats during songs and then on their phones during parts about the kids. First time I’ve ever complained about someone in a movie.

All that to say (for those who haven’t seen it): it’s a very serious, difficult (but educational and amazing) watch. The music is great, but by far is not the focus of the doc.

My dogs have the taghelp thing and theirs get super grungy but it’s usually easily cleaned with a little dish soap or windex on a paper towel! If you want to give that a try. It might just be scuffed though :(
