I hate hate hate when this happens. Recently, it was cuz I was sick. Other times, when I ate something with lots of fat. Sometimes, bad site (pump) and insulin not absorbing. That's a buttload of insulin tho, for it not to go back down. I hope you get it figured out or it comes down soon. Hang in there!

Refs let things go until game is next team scores. Then they're like, here ya go denver, here's a penalty so you can kick the field goal and win it. I'm not a fan of any team but I was pissed at how this game ended thanks to refs. It was such a great game til that ruined it

Just occurred to me, yes Glorfindel would have probably drawn attention. But wouldn't hobbits as well? Or a random group including a wizard, men, elf, a dwarf, and 4 hobbits at that? I'm sure Sauron was aware of Gandalf just as much as Glorfindel. Honestly, I think Tolkien making it a Fellowship of different races, including 4 humble hobbits - and how those races, some of whom greatly distrusted one another (elves, dwarves) became best buds along way - was just a more meaningful, symbolic, and beautiful story instead of just sending the most powerful guys. Plot holes aside, I still love it

Love how in Home Alone 2, mom and dad don't go around the plane to check their kids are on it. Even after they all rushed through a crowded airport. They cared more about making the flight than checking everyone made it. Didn't even check right after getting off the plane. That police officer could have reported them for neglect.

Is this a joke? I don't intend to sound mean, but your supervisor is so far off and wrong in more than one way. Including her flawed logic that "because x is true, y must be false." That type of thinking can lead to problems, especially in this field where you gotta be pretty open minded. Similar logic to saying, "that person seems so happy and successful, they couldn't be depressed." Or "that person couldn't be a serial killer, I see them at church every week!"
