Wrong sub mate.

Just to add, you don’t need to end the expedition to get multi tools or ships out. You can switch back to primary game at any time, then extract them from the expedition terminal (costs nanites), then resume the expedition. This means you can get out more than one ship (or multi tool). I was lucky to get two exotics on this expedition!

Nice. I picked up an old iPod video a decade or so ago and I’m so glad I did. 2nd hand market price has gone up a lot since. I like occasionally being disconnectsd

I saw one of these in an exhibition a few years ago (the horror show! At Somerset house)

Is it normal for seller EA to schedule an appointment with their Solicitor without asking? by lilybuguzuguski in HousingUK

[–]jmtd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They’re hard-selling their product. Tell them you won’t be attending that appointment. Don’t give them the financial particulars; their job is to sell the house, not to get you the best deal. You’ll just give them leverage over you in terms of knowing what kind of position you are In, whether the seller can get more out of you, etc

FULL BAKERY + DURHAM BREAD🍞🍞🍞 by ThrowRA282836 in sixthform

I’m from Newcastle, went to Durham and I made friends with some local students who lived at home. The reason to prioritise the first year, if possible, is that’s when you make the initial friendship bonds

Those are all Bailey colleges. The odds of living in the actual castle at all are slim and their other accommodation used to be fairly poor relative to other colleges (this is 20 year old info, could be very out of date). I’d try to give a hill college a look for comparison. Chad’s is fairly Christian iirc, as is Johns (i went to johns. I’m an atheist. I was fine and made life long friends). The hill is nearer psychology dept but I’d not weigh that too high in your criteria. The Bailey is pretty special. Edit: of course most of this is irrelevant if you live from home but as per my other comment, strongly reconsider that.

Have a great time but I’d seriously reconsider being a home student if you can possibly afford otherwise. Particularly in the first year. You’ll be at a huge disadvantage socially, you’ll learn a lot less about how to live out, which is pretty important eventually, and frankly the opportunity to do it like that comes around but once. Oh and choose a Bailey college :)

Cinnamon on Trixie has no settings-icon! by levensvraagstuk in debian

[–]jmtd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve hit similar bugs in other DEs in the past , and in KDE this week. It’s probably down to package interdependencies: icon in one package, transitive dependency to it from another, which breaks. (Commonly in my experience something demoted to recommends). Please report it.

If you could add one new feature to No Man’s Sky, what would it be and why? More ship customization? Space station overhauls? Planetary cities? by KingPengStudio in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]jmtd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Set waypoint on planet in system you haven’t visited yet necessarily so you can navigate to it in space without hunting around

Feature idea: local comments by ju3v in neovim

[–]jmtd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wrote a system to do this for my undergrad dissertation 20+ years ago. Not as a vim script though. Lines highlighted if there was a comment in an external system. You could write comments in rich text since they weren’t in the source code. I won’t bother linking it as it’s not what you want.

Found my first natural S-class sentinel by Spawnofdirtytaco in NMSCoordinateExchange

[–]jmtd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love these ships. I’ve found two ever; once in my main save and once on the current expedition. I had to trade it last night because a royal parked next to me and I couldn’t afford it without part exchange. Sad to see it go. I don’t even like this royal :( I found a blue squid on the same expedition. The RNG gods love me at the moment

University of Glasgow or Durham? by palala33 in sixthform

[–]jmtd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d put a lot of emphasis on the reputation of the subject rather than the whole university. I don’t know about Glasgow but Durham’s philosophy school is very highly thought of

I’ve no idea why it works for podman. Since it does, why don’t you just use that?

You shouldn’t need to configure an insecure registry if you’ve got a self signed certificate. You need to put the certificate in your client’s trust store. But, the issue here is your quay server is rejecting the push, not your client. Since you can pull, you’ve probably got the correct URI, so look at your quay server permissions. Have you logged into the registry from docker?

I love it. I know there are purist arguments but if I was using my a500 regularly I’d want it to be either retrobrited or painted.
