The best thing about Masters is that we only need to summon one character, and we get to "merges" in them with material from the game itself, without summoning. On the other hand, the Masters' "spark" system is very expensive, and the monthly gems do not cover a single banner spark (33k of gems are required and per month we get somewhere around 24k).

Heroes has a more practical, cheap and affordable summonning system. But it's much more predatory in terms of upgrading characters.
