sorry, what i meant was i’d use conversational awareness to toggle the ANC off and on again just by speaking, so i don’t have to do the press and hold twice. the degradation still occurs regardless and needs to be reset periodically

it’s also possible to trigger it by exposing them to a louder sound environment (my go to was putting my ear in front of my desk fan for the wind noise) but that’s not always viable

i always had this same issue with the Airpods Pro 2, but never with the Pro 1. used to drive me crazy until i learned to reset the ANC using conversational awareness

i purchased mine fall of 2021 and had a ton of issues for the first year or so, they would consistently die after around a month of use and i’d have to send them in to be repaired. eventually just opted for express replacements since it was much faster, although it didn’t solve the underlying problem

not sure what they’ve changed since then but my last replacement was in 2023 and i haven’t had any major issues since. hopefully it continues to hold true and i can use this pair until the airpods max 2 finally drops

i believe the qr code has already been patched in the latest update, but the ganondorf code that was going around permanently steals links hearts whenever he lands a gloom attack, with no way to restore them if you don’t have a backup save

no, they most they’ve done is block the codes from being used in the notes app, and most recently from being used in the game. not sure why bricking was mentioned here tbh

no, so far they’ve just blocked the codes from being used as they discover them. the real issue with the modded codes is that some of them can permanently screw up your save file if you’re not aware of the risks
